Terrible service!!! I would never go back to this place again. They will tow your car away even if your a customer. I was in the store for less then 30 minutes. I have never experienced this in my entire life. The people that work their are rude and run a dirty business. I ask to speak with the manager and I was very polite even though I was very dissatisfied with the service and treatment. The way he was answering my questions i thought he was actually concerned but then when I finally asked for his name and information so if i need to contact him for further information and he was slick to walk me out the door and would not give it to me. I then realized I was catching him in lies. To top if all of there was a younger gentle man that was rude and was inter-fearing with our conversation. I realized after it was one of his employees and he did not say anything like leave this woman alone. He just let him and his friends harass me. If I am correct from the name on his uniform the managers name was Joe. Thank you Walgreen for the worst service ever.

Horrible customer service. This walgreens and the east Hartford walgreens. I have a prescription I fill every month and neither location has it. I usually have to transfer it from branch to branch. Then they never call when its in. I am pregnant and require this script or my baby can die. They refused to fill it because of a typo and didnt even call to let me know so when it was time for me to get medicine, they just shrugged it off and said they were waiting for a call from my dr. They had called my doctors old office and I told them to call her new number which I had, but they didnt believe me. I ended up having my doctor call, and making then look like idiots. This is not the first time Ive had a problem here. Staff was rude, but there is one girl who is nice. Go to cvs on Burnside Ave in east Hartford. They have the best staff! I was only going to walgreens because their generics taste better but Ill deal with the nastyy taste over nasty customer service.

The pharmacist that helped me (Danielle) went above and beyond to make sure I could afford the prescription I needed. After my dog was diagnosed with lyme disease and a nationwide deficit of the antibiotic for it, I was looking at a prescription bill of $300 at the vet. I found some coupons and discount cards for medication online and brought them to my local CVS that I usually go to for everything. CVS didnt even try to look any of it up or try to find cheaper versions of the medication I needed. She quoted me the prescription for $550 and told me to go back to the vet. I decided to try Walgreens and the pharmacist there did everything she could to get me a lower price. After trying all my discounts and even using some of their own, she got my prescription down to $150. Great customer service and very friendly! This will be my new go-to pharmacy

Seems to be one of the slowest places I have been in recent years to pick up a prescription. For whatever reason I have delayed changing the default pick-up pharmacy from my Doctor, but Ive had enough. Usually under-staffed, usually ignore waiting customers, and so on. Terrible pharmacy.

They are very slow at checkout. I have no desire to wait 15 minutes to make a purchase. Its a waste of my time I left my stuff at the front door. Hire more people!!!

Pharmacy staff has always been helpful when I need them. The retail side can be slow due to short staffing. The employees do always help when you ask.
