I was redoing my sons room and he wanted the phineas and ferb giant decals for one wall and spongebob on the others. I was told the decals were easy to apply. I also bought green and blue "super paint" which was supposed to cover everything especially if 2 coats are applied. I also bought the supplies necessary to paint the room too and it all came to about $280 which is a lot but my son had to have it. Well it took 4 coats of green and 3 coats of blue to cover the white stripe halfway up the wall that was previously behind a border. Also the spongebob decals werent actually decals at all like i was told the day i bought them. They are wallpaper murals that came in 3 strips and you needed more special supplies and the know how to do it. The whole project lasted over 3 weeks because i had to keep reapplying paint. I found the wallpaper to be extremely challenging to a first timer with no experience though it came out ok. I received an email survey and when i told them of my experience i was told that if i notified them sooner they could have sent out some special investigators to my home to see why the paint wasnt covering. Why wasnt i told this in the first place? Why wasnt i told the murals were not decals when i purchased them? The sample book did not indicate they were wallpaper and i should have been warned and maybe they could have told me i needed more expensive wallpapering tools while i was choosing my paint tools. I feel like they neglected to tell me it was wallpaper and left me thinking it was decals just so they could make a sale. I hope my review inspires you to be sure of what you are buying regardless of what the sales lady tells you (or doesnt tell you). So i was basically told "oh, well, you should have told us sooner" even though it was their fault it took over 3 weeks to do a 1 week paint and decal project. Another company will be getting my business from now on!
