I bought a Subaru Impreza from East Coast Auto April of 2016. At first I was extreamly excited, but with in the first week of buying this car it started to have problems. With in three months of having the car I had to replace the brakes, replace the gas pipe, my muffler had broke, my wheel baring had to be replaced, my gas sensor broke, my brake cylinder needed replaced, and my shocks where bad. The mechanic I took my car to told me that someone had JUST tried to fix my muffler and cover it up, but did so poorly. I explained to Ray my situation, and instead of offering help he told me that with in his own company he had an employee steeling and lying from him. Ray did offer to help fix my car at a discounted rate, but it was only minorly discounted. Since his mechanics checked my car out before I bought it I did not trust them. I sent Ray a couple emails trying to figure out my car situation, at he sent me a couple unprofessional emails, the emails had a lot do typos and where not even finished. I had spent a lot of time thinking about what to write in the email, hoping he would offer some kind of sullition. He did not offer any help other than I could use there mechanic shop at a discounted rate. Then he told me that I should just buy a new car if I want something with out problems. If you decide to buy a car here MAKE SURE to have your own mechanic triple check everything. Dont take these guys word for anything.

Bought a car from here recently. It needed to get some work done and I was told by the seller and the owner that they could get the part in the next day and it wasnt even that big of a problem. I took my car the following day and then after a whole day there, they said they couldnt get the part and theyd call me when they did. They called to say itd be a while to get it, but theyd call me. A whole month goes by, and they said theyd only give me 30 days for a warranty, so I called, a little upset that they just had me waiting. They agreed to service the car in the following day after having a small dispute with the owner, which involved him cussing at me after spending nearly 6 thousands dollars with them. I pick up the car the next day only to find out they masked the warning light on my car and didnt even install the new part and at the same time, giving me a receipt for something that wasnt even done. They legit dont care about you or your car after they take your money, do not buy from here!

THIS PLACE DESERVES NO STARS! Just a little about my story, i bought a 2006 jetta from here for 3,500 that didnt even last me a year. I had to sell it for not even half the price. They give you 2 months warranty but little did i know the entire muffler was falling appart, of course i only knew this 4 months after getting the car. Not only that but the sensors were not working following the breaks and problems just when on and on. If you are looking to be ripped of and taken advantage of this is the right place. Their cars are overly expensive and they will tried to squeeze the life out of you for a car thats not even worth half of what they are selling it for. Please do yourself a favor and stay awayfron this place. Youve been warned...

I heard that east coast auto sales was taken over by new owners as of January 2013. I was looking for a car gas saver for my daughter whose going into college. And when i stepped into east coast they had a large amount of inventory to choose from. They told me they did in house financing as well as bank finance. Over all I had a great experience with them they were negotiable and honest. I was looking at a ford escape and they recommended me another car because they said that one wouldnt serve me as well. and might have problems. I think they were good honest people and very reasonable. My daughter hasnt had any issues with her vehicle and she travels about 2 hours every day. I thought the staff was friendly over all. .

This is the worst car I have ever purchased. Even though I took it to a mechanic, there were major problems and I have paid what the car cost me to buy in the first place within 1 year and a half. They just smile and say as is. Never go here unless you are a mechanic

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! They are the reason people think car dealers are scumbags. They will try and sell you vehicles even after they are sold. DEFINITELY AVOID!!! You will get ripped off and completely taken advantage of.
