My Son drove 40 minutes from his Naval Base on Veterans Day to potentially purchase his first pair of cowboy boots. When he arrived, he was the only one in the store along with 3 employees. A young woman came over to help him. He asked many questions with regard to how they are supposed to fit, and the different styles. He also stated his uncertainty with regard to making a purchase. Instead of attempting to convert him into a customer, the woman went to her manager who then came over and told him if he wasnt going to buy anything that he needed to leave the store now. With a little patience, this store could have had a well paying customer for life. Instead they have yet another customer - based on prior reviews - who will never waste their time with them again. What a true disappointment. "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. We just got home from buying my 13 year old daughter her first pair of riding pants. This is the second time we have bought horse back riding gear from this store in the past two months. My daughter is a beginning rider and I know nothing about what is required for her type of riding. Every time we have come to the Little B Barn the service is exemplary, they have attended to our needs and nicely educated us on what is best for the type of horse my daughter rides. The woman who helped us today picked out the perfect pair of pants for my daughter just by looking at her and even had her jump on a saddle in the store to show me how the pants should fit when she is riding. Every time we have gone there I am astounded at the reasonable prices and warm service. I research the prices of items online before I go there, and I am always pleasantly surprised by their prices. I would highly recommend this shop to any horse enthusiast and they are the only place we will ever go to for our familys horse equipment.

My husband and I walked in looking to buy cowboy(girl) boots for me. I have never in my life been made to feel more uncomfortable by anyone than I was by the 4 ladies working the store Saturday. I drove over an hour to get there to be treated like dirt. I walked in and got the once over look. When I asked if they had a particular boot in my size I was told they run large, try the size you have in your hand. Well they didnt fit and they wouldnt go look for a larger size. Yet the couple that walked in behind us got the royal treatment. To say I left upset is an understatement. What gives them the right to treat someone like that? They may not have liked my choice of outfits, sorry I guess wearing a denim skirt and heels to go boot shopping must be out of the norm for them. For them to treat me like that was just plain wrong. I was looking to buy $250 boots! I will NEVER go back there. I will buy my boots elsewhere.

Went to look at possibly getting my first pair of boots. I informed them that my girl friend rides and I was just getting in to riding I was unsure on styles and size and when I informed them that I was gonna look at other places too I was asked to leave the store rudely and they werent gonna help me out anymore. Made me feel really uncomfortable and I would not recommend this place to anyone I drove almost an hour to this place definitely not worth the trip.

Greeted by their wonderful friendly and intelligent dog Thor, this is a great tack shop. They have an unbeatable western selection, and a very large boot selection. They didnt have everything we were looking for, but they were SO very helpful with everything else. They are extremely passionate about their work and really care very much about their customers and supporting the circle that is CTs equestrian world.

I love this store! They couldnt be more helpful, or any nicer. Any time Im in that part of Connecticut, I always go to Little B. They make me feel like Im part of the family! And they have a great selection, all very nicely arranged so its easy to find things.

Love this tack shop!! I drive over an hour to go here. Great with ordering blankets..saddle pads... Tack... Everything they are amazing for anything horse related.
