After placing a $ 100 deposit on a $ 300 ski jacket December 11 of 2012. We found the same jacket at another establishment for $ 75 less. On December 12, I contact the Ski Haus to let them know that I would not be purchasing the jacket and that they could release the jacket back to his retail rack so that they would not miss out on another potential sale. I was told I could come in and get a refund or they could send me a check if I was unable to come in. I have tried numerous times to get my money back. Many a time I called and the owner was unavailable and many a time I called only to hear the phone ring endlessly - as they do not have an answering machine or a voicemail system. I spoke to several employees over months on end and they could not help me and suggested that I keep trying to call the East Longmeadow store and or the Wilbraham Store and speak to the owner; which I did - to no avail. I left my name and number several times and never got a returned call. After many months of on and off phone calls, I finally reached the owner - whos name was Ste---- I explained my issue and instead of being understanding and considerate, he argued with me. Called me a liar and that he was not obliged to return any money on a product that was put on layaway as per his 7 day layaway store policies. I explained that I called December 12th to let them know I would not be purchasing the jacket, and he once again said I was lying, As a business owner myself. I am very conscience of striking while the irons hot - especially in a seasonal business. This is why I let them know as soon as possible that I found the product less expensive somewhere else in the hopes of either them returning my deposit or selling me the product for the same price that I was able to purchase at Fat Trax. Since we had done business with SkiHaus for decades, At the time I would have preferred to continue to do business there. After 15 minutes of rude, crude and completely disrespectful conversation, The young owner agreed to give me a store credit. I guess this place has certainly changed over the years as the young owner does not realize the importance of treating the customer with respect. Myself and the rest of my family will NEVER spend any of our hard earned money there again. I suggest you use the Buyer Beware stance when and if you choose to do business with this establishment. There are other small businesses in the area that are pleasant and understand the importance of good customer service.

WOW---Imagine getting your dream gear...all of it half price! The customer service was incredible--ladies, several of them, who truly made me feel as though they were my best friends---assisting with honesty and helpfulness, not at all pushy or fabricating the truth so I would buy. The selection and quality of items is fabulous. The experience reminded me why I love shopping in person and hate internet experiences. Thank you to all of the ladies for making my gear needs so enjoyable---I have already received a ton of compliments and find myself more comfortable than ever! One of the best parts of the Ski Hauss is if you have issues with purchased gear they completely stand behind the product and ensure you walk away with your needs (and budget) met....a component of service not often found in todays market economy.

I found some snowboard boots that my girlfriend really liked. I called around to some local shops as well as searched online vendors. Ski Haus had the boot instock and had on par pricing with online retailers. I got great phone service from Bill and will gladly purchase from them again. I am actually going to be going back and buying a Custom X board.

I have dealt with Scott at the Ski Haus on a few occasions and both times have been excellent experiences! He is extremely accommodating and makes every effort to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. I highly recommend this shop for both ski and bike...you wont be disappointed. Keep up the great work! Joel

Went into ski Haus a week ago and they werent helpful at all. They only carry Burton and very few Rossignol snowboards. They literally couldnt care less that I was there looking at equipment... I ended up spending my &800 bucks at another store who actually cared and set me up.

BEWARE. From the top down, owner and staff are and misleading and deceitful. In particular, they did not honor their stated return policy or the one printed on their receipt.

The owner and staff are bullies. They loudly ridicule anything not sold by them. In fact, the pro shop at Blandford said not to trust them: "Theyre not skiers."
