My review is for the SALON, not the store. Avoid this salon entirely. I have given this place 3 chances and they have been very deceptive all 3 times. My first time there I initially had a great experience. My hair was washed, dried, and cut very nicely. The lady who did my hair (I dont remember her name) said she wanted to show me some cute ways to style my new haircut and proceeded to do so. I thought she was just going the extra mile, being friendly, and showing me a few new tricks. Well, I was wrong. After paying I realized she CHARGED me EXTRA for playing with my hair. Not one time did she tell me running a flat iron quickly through my hair was going to be an extra charge. My second time there I opted for a different stylist, Barb. After sitting down and telling her what Id like she started spraying my hair with a spray bottle. I asked if the wash and dry was part of my haircut and she said it was but that I didnt need it. I told her I specifically didnt wash my hair because I knew is was going to be done during my cut and after again trying to tell me I didnt need it finally agreed to wash my hair. Honestly, I should have just left but didnt. She quickly rushed through my haircut, wasnt all that chatty, and once she was done said shed meet me at the register and left. My third and final time was with Lars. I again asked for a haircut and asked about the price. He quoted me his price, washed my hair and massaged my scalp like you would not believe. I was so happy. He took his time on my hair and left me feeling great. It was only after I paid that once again I noticed I was charged for something I wasnt told about which was $10 because of the length of my hair. This wasnt quoted to me before or during the cut but was instead slapped on quietly at the end. I will never return to any JCP salon and I would urge all others looking for a salon to look elsewhere.

Well, Ive always liked shopping here. They need to come up with a better way to ring up customers. There is almost always a line. The last time before my last time, I was in the Jr. Department. This customer was needing help. The customer was getting upset and told the associate just that. The associate told the customer that it was not her fault. Anyway the customer ended up getting help from another associate who, just happened to be there on her day off, who was listening to it all.She then led the customer away telling her that they were way short handed and were in the process of hiring new people. This last time I was there, I was interested in a purse. This purse didnt have a tag. The sales associate was having a difficult time looking the purse up. Meanwhile, there was a line starting. I told the associate to go ahead and ring up the next customer. Then she tried again, no luck. So she starting helping the people in line.(She was super nice about it) While helping the other customers, she radioed a manager two times. While I was waiting, I kept my eye opened for anyone else working around the area. I looked over to the shoe department and saw a girl standing behind the register chewing gum, then fixing her makeup. Then two more came out from the shoe room in back, and they all stood around chatting, while this poor girl was slammed with customes. I then saw another person arrive in the shoe department making it 4 associates chatting. I then asked the girl in front of me who was her manager. Then her manager walked up and started helping. I asked her about the whole thing and she just told me, "Well Im here now." Then I asked why it took 4 people to help one customer cause she had told me she didnt come over right away because she was in the shoe department helping a customer, and she couldnt reply.

Im not one to write reviews but this place has awful customer service from a few of the employees! Today, I was in line observing another customer being helped. He brought in a pair of pants he previously purchased with JCPenney tags on and no receipt. He talked to one clerk and the manager who both told him they couldnt let him EXCHANGE them since he didnt have a receipt. They offered to look up his card # but he had gotten a new card and didnt have the one he purchased the pants with (most likely due to identify theft (since this happens to a lot of us)). I informed this stranger that was BS and they should let him exchange them since hes not getting currency returned! He asked again and was told again they couldnt help him. I have exchanged/gotten store credit for items Ive received as gifts or lost my receipt also!! Maybe you should make sure your employees know your return policy!!! A couple weeks ago, I ran in to purchase a shirt I had found a few days before. There was no line so I stood in front of two cashiers who were talking "crap" about another employee. (SO UNPROFESSIONAL) I stood there waiting to see if they would stop gossiping and help me. The manager came back and then told the one who was bitching that she could go on break. I stood there for almost 5 whole minutes before I asked if someone was going to help the customer thats been waiting. So rude!

Horrible customer service and even worse management!!!! I had scheduled a photo shoot with the portrait studio on Sunday before Thanksgiving 2014 for 6pm. I arrived at 545pm with me and my family prepared for the shoot when I was rudely greeted by a supposed manager refusing to let me and my children in. I was bewildered and asked what was the problem she said we are closing, I showed proof of my appointment, she had no interest in my family or our pictures, at that time the portrait studio manager called me I handed the phone to the manager, she said she did not care and was not going to let us in(keep in mind I spent over $1,000 in the package, clothes, hair, nails and etc). I was upset called the store manager right there and left a voice mail. After numerous attempts to contact the Head Store Manager hoping to prevent this from happening to anyone I was unsuccessful left several voice mail with no response. I decided to block the call and sure enough he answered and said I received your message and resolved everything, he was short with me like m a paying customer was bothering him. I hope this helps

This company is awful. Ordered online for in store pick up. Never received a call when it arrived, then, when I show up I found out one item is no longer in stock at all. To which the little old lady said, Im sorry, nothing I can do. The status was in transit but the product is out of production. Basically, in what could have been sent in an automatic email, took me 45min to find out that I wont be getting the product. I wont go back, online or otherwise. You shouldnt either.

Well The staff is extremely rude and the management completely lacks any leadership skill. The store itself is a mess with clothes on the floor everywhere,clearly visible for the isles. The store does have a decent selection but the personnel is a complete failure.Please visit another branch this one is the worse one ive ever been to. the mall is out of business and the employees show exactly why that happened to begin with.
