I LOVE this place! Its the only coffee shop I know of in town thats open pretty late, until 10pm most days except for Sunday which is 8ish. They have local musicians come in later in the day sometimes, and its got a really nice feel to it. Hands down BEST coffee shop for anything homemade. They have different cakes every day, they always have vegetarian and sausage breakfast burritos and they are my FAVOURITE in town, also fairly cheap. Cinnamon rolls and coffee cakes are awesome and to die for! Owner is a pretty cool guy the few times Ive seen him. Gotta love the atmosphere of the place with the shelf in the back full of retro games and VHS tapes. They tend to switch up their music, its not as much classy coffee shop jazz music, its usually more indie type of stuff thats appealing to listen to in the background. I did once see a mother with her kid come in at a bit of the wrong time, one song had swear words and the employee behind the counter immediately ran to the back to change it for them before she could complain. Needless to say despite that she crinkled her nose up and had a nasty look on her face and marched off with her kid in a foul mood all in a huff. Little kid was standing there picking his nose and didnt even notice what was going on and was distracted by the cinnamon rolls so I think she overreacted, Im sure he hears worse things from his friends at school anyways. So if the music ever starts to get a little too out there theyre pretty good about changing it up as soon as they can. I LOVE their coffee, they also have fairly good tea. They carry chai tea as well which is more of an earthy variety, from what I heard more of a "true" chai and not slathered in sweetener. Its more of an acquired taste, not exactly my thing but I enjoyed it anyways. Personally though I like my coffee and tea like a dessert, covered in whipped cream and sweetener so take my opinion with a grain of sugar! Actually, make that a couple heaps of sugar.

My first impression of La Vita Bella Coffee was of how cozy the atmosphere was. It was a relief it had plenty of natural light from the windows. Being celiac, finding eatery with gluten-free food is a challenge - sadly, there was only one gluten-free item on the menu (pumpkin bread, I think , which I dont like). I hope they will start providing more gluten-free baked goods (GF vanilla cupcake with dark chocolate icing anyone?!) and GF meals in the future. The great thing was their Truffle Hot Chocolate, it was really delicious. Even with coconut milk (I cant have dairy), it was extremely creamy - its like having a truffle chocolate candy melt in your mouth with each sip. I also liked they welcome people to advertise their businesses or events on the bulletin board. Its also very kid-friendly as there is a table with toys and lots of different games for people to play. The sofas were very comfortable.

Let me first start by saying, La Vita Bella serves quality drinks and food (the best espresso and espresso drinks in Longmont). They serve the best mochas I have ever had (they make their own ganache and it is delicious) and their cinnamon rolls are magical (also made in-house). Unfortunately, one of the baristas lack people skills. When he is working (he is working 50% of the times I visit), I sometimes leave feeling insulted and disrespected. This is definitely not enough to make me stop coming (the owner and the other employees are really nice and I enjoy talking with them), but its certainly enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Every Sunday morning ,the owner/operator, opens his door, donates his time and his food as he serves a pancake-plus breakfast . Wether he and family know it or not , I can assure you , his breakfast and bible reading are widely known to be the best place to be, of a Sunday morning.Thank you mike for being a pin-point of light in a dark time .

Atmosphere is really nice. The owner invites many different local artists to perform and show off their talents. They also have many different groups show up to chat and have a good time. If your looking for a good coffee shop drink and a place with lots of opportunity to engage with others in the community this is your place.

The coffee is delicious. My mocha had beautiful latte art, made by a friendly and helpful barista. All the snacks are locally made -- the cakes are /amazing/. The place oozes with local flavor, as the walls feature art from local artists, and there is live music most evenings. A delightful local coffee shop!

I stop by this little gem anytime Im in the area, and sometimes drive over from Firestone for the atmosphere to get some work done. They have delicious burritos, and bakery items, coffee, super nice staff, cool playlist, and plenty of power outlets. Its great for small business meetings as well.

I only had a small window to try the shop as I came in as it was closing. The owner, Chris, was delightful and actually loves coffee, which many coffee shops dont have. Best coffee my wife and I have had anywhere and we are very picky. Thanks Chris for the quick but amazing time!

Friendly, atmospheric. Great atmosphere like a coffee place should be. Exposed brick and beams, comfy couch and a raised platform for entertainment. Visited late in the day and couple people playing guitar in the corner, staff going out of their way to make sure I get what I need.

The person making the coffee was so welcoming and helpful. He let me taste test anything I was thinking about to help make my decision. My chai latte and caramel cake was amazing. The coffee shop has a cozy atmosphere and the employees had excellent customer service.

Cozy, comfortable, and everyone is super friendly. Coffee is good, way better than Ziggis in my opinion, but can be inconsistent. Lots of people seem to order chai here. Baked goods are great, made in house, and there are fresh gluten free options, too!

Love this place! So much better than any other coffee shop in Longmont - especially the one across the street... Cozy relaxed atmosphere, nice people, delicious drinks and snacks. We really enjoy it here, we often stop in just to hang out for a bit.

Inconsistent. The first time I got drip coffee and it was, rich & flavorful. The second time I went service was sloooow, the coffee was intensely overextracted (which makes it undrinkable).
