We have lived in Belmar for 1 1/2 years, it has quickly gone down hill. Security is AWFUL! We have complained several times about car break-ins in the garages, they blow us off. There is an abandoned car that has sat there for months, the tires and convertible top slashed, windows smashed and gas tank emptied. It still sits there like an eyesore. The last straw for us is that the parking garage now has graffiti all over!! Calls have been placed and nothing has been done. They say there are cameras in the garages, I find it hard to believe with how much vandalism goes on. I would not recommend moving here, Management and Ownership has changed, it has only gotten worse. It makes me sad, Belmar is a beautiful location, my heart breaks to see it going down hill like this.

I was cruising around on my skateboard with my friends recently and security stopped us and said we knocked over a sign. We never did that and if we did, it would be an accident. . Then the next day, they stopped us and told us to not go in the parking garage. We never went in the parking garage. And then today, they stopped us and said we were hitting cars. I dint know if they meant hitting them as in breaking into them or what,but we never went near a car. Security is awful at Belmar. If your a skateboarder looking to cruise around and shop in Belmar, just know security will stop you for something you had nothing to do with. Even if your not with a skateboard, try not to go near a window, or theyll say you broke it. Security needs A LOT. Of work.

Shopping in belmar is great but dealing with security is a joke. They dont do anything. They dont monitor the parking garage at all and expect staff members of belmar to park in the garage all day while they sit in there little office instead of being out watching for safety issues. When asked about the safety concern in the parking garage they tell everyone they have cameras. Is a camera going to help me or my car from the hoodloms that hangout in the garage at night and your nowhere to be found? Security is just a joke. They will ticket you for being in the parking lot for an hour while other cars sit there all day with nothing on them. They are useless. Thanks for nothing.

Belmar is so great. I miss living right in it. Lots of free parking, both lots and garages, which is nice. It has a movie theater, up scale bowling alley, lots of shopping and restaurants, plus a World of Beer. You can easily spend an entire day here. There is also a free Belmar shuttle that takes you around the surrounding area, including the Wadsworth light rail station. The only thing about the shops there are that the chain ones (like Bath and Body Works, Victorias Secret, etc) are smaller than most, so a lot less inventory. Also, because of the large amount of pedestrian traffic, driving through it can be a pain. Best to just park on the outskirts and walk around.

Fun to walk around in warmer weather, and a variety of stores that rival an indoor mall. It gets exceptionally crowded at peak shooping times and special events, and even the paid parking spots disappear fast. Love the outdoor ice skating rink in the winter, and a very nice movie theater too. The options to eat are kinda limited and what is there is a bit trendy, but there are dozens of places to eat less than 5 minutes to from Belmar.

I liked it a few years ago. Way too compact now. Streets are too small during business hours, people literally everywhere so you cant drive or walk around. The bars there are not that great. The biggest one is the Baker Street Pub and needs to be closed. That place is why we dont enjoy dining in Belmar anymore. Too many times had the service been atrocious! I like all the offerings, but again its too cluttered to enjoy it as a mall.

I like walking around Belmar during the evening time, and checking out the shops. It can get busy, and its a nightlife spot depending on the day. Personally believe all these places charging PIF is a joke! It keeps me from eating out at the restaurants because Im being charged extra. Wadsworth gets extremely busy so just be careful, and the Target at this location is smaller.

Lived in Lakewood before they renamed it Belmar and hiked the rent up 20% without any kind of infrastructure improvements. All over Denver, gentrification and name changes promote price gauging. Oh and by the way, if youre just trying to go buy something at Target on a weekend evening, be prepared to navigate through 600 teenagers doing nothing and spending ZERO dollars.

Belmar has a good mix of relatively upscale stores and restaurants plus a 16-screen movie theater. All of the garage parking is free, although the garages do get crowded at peak hours. The shopping is spread out and it can be a long walk between all of the stores. The Block 7 row of art galleries and studios is a nice addition to the usual shops.

Great shopping for just about anything you need grocery or personal shopping plus you can grab a beer, have dinner, see a movie or go bowling all without leaving the area! Its a great place to walk around and browse or if you are looking for something specific. Some paid parking on the street but lots of free parking in the garages.

Especially during the evening there is just a really cozy feeling about being in Belmar. Sometimes there are a bunch of young teens wondering the streets of Belmar that can make it feel a bit sketch but when they arent around its a great place to enjoy the evening and catch a movie or go shopping and have dinner.

When I go to Belmar, mainly go to the movie theater, Target, or Dicks. I do enjoy walking through the shopping complex especially when its decorated for holidays or the ice skating rink is up, its cute and quaint. There seems to be a decent variety of stores and while busy with lots of people is very clean.

Ive not only shopped here since it was Villa Italia Mall, but Ive also worked in Belmar. It has everything you could think of and even stuff youd never expecy! It is its own little city and super convienent. Holidays, day to day life, or even just a date, or a fun night/day out... its got everything!

Belmar is beautiful and trendy. The streets are tight so walking is ideal, plus parking is scarce unless you can find the parking garage. The stores range from quaint to pricey but will provide you everything you might want. A good date night could be spent here even if you just walked around!

Two full grocery stores besides the While Foods, an IHOP amongst myriad delectable eats to suit every wallets contention, a bowling alley across the street from the movie theater, and dont even get me started on the bars. Fun you can comfortably walk around having all day with free parking.

Brlmar is a nice area to walk around at and do some shopping. There is a good variety of stores and for your more basic needs, there is a Whole Foods and Target also in the shopping center. Great area to find a place to grab a quick bite for lunch and there are a few good sit-down places.
