I have to say - prior to hitting up Steadfast Tattoos in CO Springs, I had quite a bad tattooing experience about 4-5 years back - that had left a sour taste in my mouth about tattooing since then. Needless to say - I was out 80 bucks, had a crap tattoo with scar tissue on it, and a painful story to boot with an unprofessional artist in Louisiana. So while my good friend was getting work done, I talked with Nikki about how my wrist tattoo that was looking rough - could be fixed. Within a few hours she had an opening as she wrapped up her work on another client early, and then she called me in the back to get me in the chair. Needless to say, my anxiety was kicking into over drive - but Nikki is the ultimate professional. Shes funny, likes to cut some jokes and really helps to ease your nerves. Sadly, I wasnt the first client shes helped like this - thanks to previous bad tattoo horror stories she was told about in her career by other clients. The cool thing is though, this makes her incredibly easy to work with as shes patient. So as she proceeds to start her work, I got into my zen zone, worked on my breathing and before I knew it - I wasnt feeling too much of anything. In fact I sat in my chair laughing and joking with her and my friend, and I actually watched her work on my wrist in fasination because it was mind blowing to me - that this experience can actually be a good one! Nikki has mastered the art of a light touch, has a fluid artistic ability, uses great (and obviously clean) equipment, a very astute professional and shes great at keeping an amazing attitude in the face adversity when she knows shes working on a nervous client. She has truly changed my mind about the tattooing experience and I cannot wait to come back and work with her again during my next vacation to the area. Thanks Nikki and to all of the professionals at Steadfast Tattoos. You guys are amazing and Ill certainly be recommending you to all of my friends who travel through the area and/or live there!

I had a 30 year old tattoo that I wanted reworked. It was a sentimental piece I had gotten done at a shop in Columbus GA while I was basic training called Sailor Bills. I did my research, viewed artist work online, and visited a couple of shops. After visiting Steadfast, my choice was clear. Nikki and Gary have created a shop with personal feel and a positive atmosphere. I had wanted to have Nikki do the work based on her online portfolio and after a consultation she was able to fit me in about a week later. All I can say is that she did a truly amazing job. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, to the enjoyable conversation with both her and Gary. I felt like I mattered as a customer and not just as a source of income. The shop was clean and their practices were ethical and in the end I got a tattoo that was better than I imagined was possible. I would recommend Steadfast, without reservation, to anyone looking to get the highest quality tattoo, for a fair price, in an amazing atmosphere.

Awful. Gary and Nikki are the most unprofessional and toxic people I have ever met. I spent a lot of time with Squigz, an amazing and talented artist, only to be harassed by Gary (savage) every time I went in there because he and Nikki had marital issues that I supposedly somehow knew about (my relationship with these people has been strictly professional, and I have never spoke to either of them regarding their personal lives or my own). It eventually came to a head and Gary banned me from the shop for no reason whatsoever, and left me with an incomplete tattoo. Do not waste your time and money with these people. The overall atmosphere of the shop is toxic because of the tension between the owners and their immature way of dealing with their own issues. On top of that, these same issues have affected a friend of mine who had spent over $15000 in work with these people, only to fall victim to Garys volatile behavior that is much akin to a meth amphetamine addict.

I was disappointed by the way steadfast did not engage me. I did my research, looked into the artists, and when I made a choice, I contacted the artist and didnt hear back. After this, I called steadfast, but their hours are so odd that it was difficult to communicate. I called again, but nobody answered so I left a voicemail with details about what I was looking for, my contact information, etc. again, I never heard back. So, I decided to make a trip in to see if I could speak to anyone. When I went in, there was only one artist there and she was in the middle of her appointment so I didnt want to interrupt. I decided I would wait for a few minutes until maybe one of the others would show up. This was at 4 oclock so not during a lunch break or anything. Nobody showed up after 20 mins. Extremely unprofessional to not hear back after contacting via website, making several phone calls, and even coming in person. Will be taking my business elsewhere

Nikki once again has not failed in providing exquisite quality and service! The tattoo I got today and the one from my last visit are absolutely gorgeous and surpassed my (very high) expectations. Steadfast is the only place I will consider getting my tattoos and Nikki is my only go-to for my inking. The studio itself is very clean and well maintained. All safety and hygiene procedures are well done and, in all honesty, better done than some hospital clinics Ive been too. All the artists are so friendly and take care of their clients. While I was there Austin redid a tattoo pattern until the client was 100% satisfied with it. The awesome artists and atmosphere also helped ease the anxiety of a client getting their first tattoo while i was there as well. Prices are very reasonable and very fair. I got extremely high quality for what I paid and am over the moon with satisfaction, Keep up the super job, guys!

I honestly dont think I can say enough good things about this place and the work that Gary and Nikki do. I have been getting work done by Gary for years now and he is finally in a place where I actually feel comfortable going in and hanging out. The shop is outstanding, comfortable and inviting, and the owners (Gary and Nikki) make every person that walks in feel welcome and appreciated. All this said, the work that they do speaks for itself. Absolutely top notch art! If you are reading this and you are looking for a place that you can feel good about going back to time and time again, well then you can stop looking. You have found it! Go in and meet Gary and Nikki, get some work done, you will see what I mean.

My experience here was amazing! I went to Austin with a very specific tattoo in mind and some pictures and he nailed it! Austin is an extremely talented artist and I would recommend him to anyone. He works meticulously and takes great pride in his work. Ive waited a very long time to get this tattoo and Im glad I trusted the job to Austin. And from what I saw while there the whole crew at Steadfast will go above and beyond to create the perfect tattoo for you. Their thought process and detail before, during and after is what makes each tattoo special. You cannot go wrong with this studio. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! Thanks Austin for this amazing piece of art. I will wear it proudly!
