Sprouts used to be one of my favorite grocery stores, however lately every time I go there they are extremely understaffed. I like to grab a sandwich on my lunch breaks but the lines are so long it can take 20 to 30 minutes just to get out. They need more employees asap. Today I went in for a sandwich and almost wanted to tell the girl to forget it bc she was cross contaminating left and right. I ordered a veggie sandwich w no cheese bc Im vegan and she was using the same dirty knife to cut everyones sandwich. The lady before me had two grilled cheese sandwiches and I could see the melted cheese still on the knife when she cut my sandwich. Thats unacceptable. Fortunately Im a nice person and she was already backed up and I was running behind too so I didnt make a fuss but that sort of thing should be common knowledge especially at a health food grocery store. You would think with natural grocers and whole foods right down the street they would do better. A health inspector would probably shut that kitchen down!

Sprouts is the fresh fruits and vegetable price leader and sales leader among the area groceries. While it is smaller, it really pushes the produce. Wednesday is the most crowded because both the previous week and coming week sales prices apply. There are two types of shoppers--the produce and bulk only shoppers who supplement at other stores and the loyal organic crowd, which is of course a bit more hipster as opposed to the other faction consisting of young moms and middle-aged shoppers. Naturally you can find the more hipster crowd after work and on weekends versus the midday midweek ensemble. One note: watch out for seconds. If you know your fruits and vegetables well, youll realize that some of the price leaders are either undersized, not at the peak of condition, or otherwise available for less on the wholesale market, but still can be a great buy if you are selective.

I normally come to this location and have loved everyone and my experiences. Today was not one of those days. I was waiting to be checked out in line when my cashier was rude from the beginning. I had my little basket up there with some items in them and not even says hi but rudely says, "this is a disaster and starts to literally throw stuff out of my basket.." I was just in such shock that I couldnt help but stare at her and wonder if she was just having a bad day or if she was just rude all of the time. I dont know her name and I have never seen her there before but she has part of her head shaved and its black and more on the heavier side. She says she hopes I have a good day and I said I hope her day got better along with her attitude. Im sorry, but if you hate your job and you cant handle dealing with customers. Maybe you should find a new profession.

Sprouts used to be an amazing store. The staff WAS helpful in every way. I once had a deli clerk offer to give me chicken salad because he had to prepare it and it took a bit longer than he thought it should have. I had NO problem when it rang up at the register because he was legitimately concerned about my wait time. Fast forward to recently, the staff moral and eagerness to assist has tanked. The cash registers are brutal to maneuver. There are generally half as many open as are required to handle the customer load. The ones that are open are competing for highest honor in a snail race. I will not return to this store. It could improve tomorrow but I wont know it because Whole Foods and King Soopers are just too close for me to force folks to offer customer service at Sprouts that is common fair down the street a short distance.

Have always loved Sprouts. They have the best produce at reasonable prices. House made sausages are great as well as all of their meats. Recently-maybe last 6 months their check out lines have become impossible. Doesnt seem to matter what day or time --you shop for 10-15 minutes and wait in line for at least 30 minutes to check out. They do have 2 express lines but only one is ever open so it takes just as long as any other. Too bad such a great store for many years has come to this. They should expand this store or open another farther south to accommodate all the loyal customers. Standing in line to check out you hear most people complain about the lines. Cashier shouldnt have to apologize to every customer for the wait. Because of their great products I will continue to shop here but less often then before.

I LOVE this sprouts!!! They are so helpful and knowledgeable! There were times i took my first child and he was about 18 months old and he would snatch an apple when i wasnt watching but the employees just laughed and said it happens and said they would much rather see him eating an apple them some junk food and gave it to us as a sample even though i was willing to pay and apologized over and over again. The always have stuff stocked up and i love the new look of the store. Out of the 6-7 years that i have been going there I have had only had to have 2 rain checks for something with a 72 hour sale. The only thing i dont like which isnt there fault is double ad Wednesdays. Im a busy mother and like to get in and out with my kids but its just poor planning on my part haha.

What a disappointing Sprouts! I have shopped at Sprouts for years in Greeley and Ft. Collins, and more recently, in N. San Diego county, (San Marcos and Carlsbad) and have loved shopping there. I came to this Sprouts on a chilly day, walked in, and it felt like there was no heat at all: A big, dark, cold warehouse feel to it. None of the staff in the aisles even acknowledged me. They were out of my deodorant, my favorite incense, my gluten-free crackers and granola bars. The cashier did not say hello, and the bagger never even looked up. When I got home, I saw that my shower gel had rung up at $3 more than the price stated on the shelf. I drove an hour to go there, but wont do that again.
