Ill preface this by saying they have a decent wine and beer selection which is why Im giving two stars instead of one. First, I work at two wine bars here in town and have a decent knowledge of wine. I went into Hope looking for a wedding gift for my friend, I asked the attendant if they had a ventoux to which he replied "A what? Uh no. Have you ever seen that anywhere else in town?" I hoped someone running a wine and beer store would have some basic knowledge of the trade. Rather than offering other selections, checking his database or being helpful in any way, he began to belittle me and my girlfriend and make us look like fools for asking such a ridiculous question (keep in mind ventoux is a relatively common blend) asking why we thought they would ever carry such a thing. He very easily couldve just told us they did not have any and try and offer another selection but he did not want to humble himself and show that he really had no idea what he was talking about. Good thing theres a liquor store on every corner with much friendlier, more knowledgeable, and helpful staff. TL;DR staff is rude, doesnt know much about the massive wine selection they have. Belittled me and my girlfriend rather than help us.

I am originally from Upstate New York. The first time I walked into this store I saw Dundee Kolsh Ale; a regional craft brew from Rochester, my home town. The cashier was friendly and appreciated my connection with the obscure beer choice. Every time Ive gone into this store Ive been greeted with a friendly smile and an offer of assistance. Decent selection. I need to become accustomed to Colorado beer and I feel comfortable doing that here. I can find Stone and Dogfish Head here as well as some Colorado locals. Liquor prices are good. (Im coming from New York where taxes are like receipts; they come with everything you buy) The folks are friendly and helpful, give it a try. Albertsons sucks but this place is a fine establishment!

These guys have horrible service. Went there and was treated horrible. I dont appreciate the way they treat their buying/paying customers. My brother in law was made fun of because of his hair cut. They asked if he is military (which hes not) then proceeded to give him trouble because he didnt buy two cases which were on sale. He could not afford to buy the two cases and the guys behind the counter made fun of him. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

Why is the taller bigger guy in this place such a duchebag? Every time I ask a question he cant give a straight answer. Everyone else working here seems so nice and helpful. Because one guy Im shopping somewhere else. I think all the other bad b reviews are probably the same guy. Probably think about a replacement. This place is so close to my house I would love for it to be my go to.

I hate going into Liquor Stores, but in Colorado if you want wine its a must. But if I have to go anywhere, I like going here. They have a military discount. The staff is friendly, they have a variety of everything, and the store is clean.

Good selection of wine. Bit of a poor beer selection. Price of one kind of beer was mismarked and the owner was rude to me about it. Shes not doing her business any favors. Too many liquor stores to waste my money again at this one.

This is a surprisingly good liquor store. They have a great beer selection for being a small neighborhood store. I go here to pick up Paradox Beer releases on a regular basis.
