No... Just... No. Dont get me wrong, I love my ink... But $300 for no color and a very basic, undetailed tattoo with parts HE FORGOT TO PUT IN (Im missing four parts of the design that I told him I wanted put in), is just screwing people over for $$$. Such a very basic tattoo for such a high price and unless they offer to completely FINISH IT FOR FREE, I wont be back and will refer everyone I meet that wants ink to another place with artists that will actually take care of your wants/needs. Read below...I went over to Big Easy Tattoo, actually this is my shop of choice and Ive had several gorgeous tattoos done here in the past, and Ryan Hewell gave me the most detailed and one of the biggest tattoos I have on my body with TONS of color for only $140. Hes an amazing artist willing to work with his customers and make sure theyre happy. Sorry SB but... you knowingly screwed me over. Waiting until Im in the chair getting inked and telling me that Im basically paying $300 for half of the tattoo I wanted, no color and hardly any detail. And Im sure when I go in to ask you to finish what you told me would be done youll either turn me away, ask for more money or call me a liar. Do not go to Smokey Banana unless you want to be ripped off. Wish I could post pics of my ink for comparison but trust me on this, go see Ryan at Big Easy Tattoo.

I JUST GOT THE BEST TATTOO OF MY LIFE AT SMOKEY BANANA!!! :) I have been getting tattooed for over 20 years and I will never go anywhere else - EVER. I walked in there just to get coffee, but walked out with Vinny as my tattoo BFF for life!! His use of color just absolutely floored me and Im getting compliments everywhere I go. I appreciate the time and care he took to make sure I walked out of there not just happy but ECSTATIC! The shop is clean and there is lots of amazing art by Tom Cross (shop owner) to look at while you get inked. Have some good conversation or just zone out - either way, everyone there is super friendly. Shoot, I already feel like "family"!! :) Ready to get some ink?? I paid a $100 deposit and emailed ideas of what Id like for a sleeve. When came in for my appointment my artist (Jason) didnt have anything drawn up at all, so slightly confused what the deposit was for. We proceeded with the tattoo, starting with a cover up. The end result was dark REALLY dark. Now I have this black square on my forearm. Unsure of what to do with it but I will definitely not be returning to have him finish my sleeve and I will for sure be spreading the word. Very impersonal and unprofessional.

I started a sleeve with Ana, and let me tell you much better than my previous tattoo experience. Ana is an incredible artist and the shop is very clean and welcoming. So far Ive only had the outline and its very good looking. I already am looking forward to going back for some shading. The people in the shop all seem very involved in my sleeve and I enjoy their enthusiasm. This is a great place to go. Good atmosphere, good prices, good talent. Ill go only here from now on. Unless ana leaves

I got my first tattoo here on my 18th birthday 9 months later Im still in love with my amazing tattoo that I got from Kevin, he drew it up better than I even immagined. It has so much detail that everytime I go somewhere get someone complimenting it. I went back after it healed for a free touch up and I will go back when I get enough money. :) I go for my piercings too. :D I got my eyebrow,tragus,and industrial pierced there and I loveee them

Great shop, have been working with Tom on my entire body for a year+ and all freehand. Great family enviornment, my son got his first from Vinnie and it came out great, my brother also got one from Vinnie and couldnt be happier. My daughter got a monroe piercing and it looks great, my wife got a back piece small and nice... Smokey is the place if you are serious about ink...

I went over the summer and got my belly button piercing done. The lady who pierced it was really rude and wouldnt talk to me. She did a fine job- it was straight and centered and didnt get infected. The other lady there was nicer and talked to me after I had gotten it done. They do a clean and safe job, but are about as friendly as door knobs...

Jan 3rd review is an idiot... of course a shop a mile and half down the road would tell you he did it wrong. My family and I have been using Kevin for years and have no complaints. There are many, many variables in tattooing and he has always done us right in any concern we may have.... Good luck with "Big Easy" sucker... you will need it !!

I went to get a vertical industrial. The piercer was knowledgeable and flexible so we settled on a diagonal to fit my ear. It was quick and I was in and out within 15 minutes, and it was very reasonably priced for this custom piercing at $45. I highly recommend this place. Great work!

Recently my grandfather went to this shop and got an infection were they saved his arm only the linework is clean but the black fill is very shotty so my only conclusion is they used a dirty razor be careful make sure you always ask to see packages opened in front of you even razors

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! I had my tattoo touched up by one of the artists and it looked like my original design had been traced (very poorly) with a ballpoint pen!!!!!! I went somewhere else to have the damage corrected and will never be back!! Prison tattoo? No thanks.

Horrible tattoos. Both my husband and I got tattoos there and mine came out like a grade school drawing and had so much scar tissue. Had to have the whole thing redone a year later. My husbands looks just as bad. Never do business here!

Went in today to price tattoos and for being so expensive youd think itd be 5 stars across the board. I found places in the surrounding area for half the price and better reviews. P.S. the girls there need to work on their people skills.
