I like most of what Southlands has to offer. The one super negative is the lack of meaningful accessibility for people in wheelchairs; this is doubly sad because RTD has a stop right outside of the Walmart. From that bus stop anyone in a wheelchair must begin looking for accessible routes; for those who can walk this is easy, for those in chairs its a matter of going out of their way to get anywhere; many times the only way to avoid a time consuming detour is to travel through a parking lot; I wouldnt want someone I care about to have to do that. At one point (wish I had a pic) on the accessible sidewalk across from Chipotle, the street light blocks accessibility to that sidewalk. Many business areas off the main street have sidewalks on only 3 sides meaning that someone in a wheelchair has a significant detour to accessing the businesses; an example is the area where Del Taco is located (take a look sometime and imagine getting in there in a wheelchair). Southlands is a great place to be for people who can walk; even with a stroller a parent can take their child out & walk up landscaping to avoid lengthy detours. When wheels are how you get around, its frustrating & time consuming.

Ive been living out here long before Southlands was ever built, and the fact that a lot of the shops look like theyve been there for a long while shows how cheaply they were made. Also, having worked at a couple of places there, I can also tell you that the sewer systems were just as cheaply slapped together as the buildings. Its a cute shopping area, too bad the builders were too focused on the money and not the quality and durability of the buildings. That includes the cheap housing slapped up around it to squeeze every last penny they could from the morons duped by a shiny coat of paint moving in there.

wonderful little town center with everything you can ask for in the Southlands area . lots of great shops for everyone in the family and anchored by one of the best AMC theatres right in the middle . great place to dine, shop and play . kids will love the water fountains and everyone will have a great time in the summer weekend Farmers market and other attractions . In the winter the play area becomes a popular ice skating rink . there is also live music from time to time

Our family loves Southlands!! Great restaurants, quick eats, sweet treats, and retail stores. They have free concerts and movies in the Summer, and pond ice skating and holiday parade in the Winter. Every season has something fun going on. Such a family oriented place with fountains, play structures, and pretty lights at night. They have been putting a lot of time into updating and improving, so it is only going to get better!!

Southlands is an open shopping area with a main Street loved by walkers (and the hill makes it good for you). Beautifully designed and kept immaculate it is filled with laughing people, great places to eat or sit for an ice cream or coffee, or even shop. There is free live bands and during the summer fountains to play in, ice skating in the winter. Always a fun way to get your shopping done, or just go hang out.

One of my favorite places to go. Its very well maintained, and theres so many stores to shop from as well as so many restaurants to eat at. I would highly suggest you try Monsoon if you are into Indian cuisine. They are top notch. Theres a giant fire pit that has Adirondack chairs you can sit in, and in the summer, there is a water play area for the kiddos. Very nice place.

No shortage of shopping options although kind of sad Sports Authority closed which is certainly not the fault of Southlands. I do like the comfortable seats at the movie theatre and the Japanese restaurant off the main square. P.S. I dont like giving 5 stars to anyone but I might when the mall fills the empty space S.A. had occupied.

Great outoor mall with lots of stores to choose from. I cant think of anything I would need for home or work that I cant find in this location. I love their Farmers Market on Saturday (ends the last weekend in Sept) and the outoor entertainment they have for kids - splashpad in the summer and ice rink in the winter.

There are a variety of eating establishments, and shopping to meet your every need!! (I just wish there was a Post Office.)

Quaint shopping and entertainment center with a main street feel. This place has tons of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a really nice movie theater. During summer months they host free outdoor concerts and other events. Great fun for the entire family.

I love taking my son here or even just going shopping at all the stores. You have every option available to you and its a fun experience day or night. Also the stores in this mall have better selections overall then there counterparts in other areas.

Selection of stores, needs some flagship stores. Happy Bar Louie is coming. Were tired of the cookie cutter chain eateries too. Way too much charged for rent for good places to come in. A lot of stores have closed or left in the last 2 yrs.

Could use some better signage in a few places and no real reason to not allow u-turns several places which prohibit u-turns but good parking and fairly well designed for walking between and parking near the various stores and restaurants.

The shops are awesome, but the parking design means traffic gets backed up pretty easily, and pedestrian crossing spots are not clear so we nearly got hit a few times by drivers while walking across what we thought was the cross walk.

I really enjoy the Southlands shopping mall. It feels more like a small Shopping Town than a mall because of how it is set up and they have lots of different kinds of shops in the area just about anything you could ever want.

This shopping area is clean with a large variety of food and shops. There is a place for kids to play in the center near the movie theater. The activities change depending on the season. Parking is sometimes a problem.

Great place, many great restaurants and shops. The AMC Theater is very handy for follow in this part of Aurora. A Fountain in the center of the Plaza near the Theater provides lots of fun for children in the summer.

Great date night area. Some unique stores and all the most common brick and mortars in walking distance. I like the layout of the restaurants on the edges of the town center and the fireplace and architecture within.

I love the atmosphere of the Southlands town center. Its a great place to stroll. The folks are all friendly. You can let your kid play in the fountain and sit on a shady bench to watch them. Its beautiful.

Its a nice place to walk around and shop. If you get hungry on your shopping outing you have many wonderful choices. The AMC theatre is also a dine in. They have live bands starting soon for the summer.
