Food pricing was reasonable compared to other resort communities, and was not completely outrageous. (Eating out in Aspen was more expensive than it is in other resort areas.) I visited this store almost daily for 1 week, and most of the staff were extremely helpful. On one evening, I had to go to the customer service desk, where there was only 1 person working-and they were handling a money wire transfer. Finally, someone else came over to help, but helped someone who arrived after I did. After helping that person, they served me. They looked extremely tired, and didnt really seem to be happy to be at work-understandably after the big rush of Xgames. Overall, everyone was very nice, courteous, and working very hard to take care of the large amount of people in town. The fruit and produce that I purchased was also of good quality, which can be hard to find in winter.

A small supermarket in the center of town. Considered more affordable of the two main markets in town. Its carrying a limited selection of items which is characteristic of Aspen. Its mostly OK for your daily needs, but just barely. Most people would be able to get by. Has in-store deli but its nothing to write home about. Anything else, youre going to have to go down-valley to Whole Foods in Basalt or Wal-Mart or Target in Glenwood Springs. Located in the center of town in an accessible location. Has a small parking lot that can get very crowded, especially during the busy times of the year. Has a very nice butcher shop adjacent, as well as an OK liquor store.

The customer service counter is horrible. They man it with one person, which that one person is usually busy visiting with their co-workers, chatting on the phone of just no paying attention to if youre standing in line. Horrible customer service. The self check ...it woul be nice if the person "helping" would pay attention to if the scanner quits scanning, if they would occasionally wipe down the check out stations, especially when they are wet. City Market Aspen can do a better job with their customer service

Terrible customer service at the checkout. The last 2x I was in there the checkout people couldnt understand my mesh produce bags. A box of juice was partially open and I told the guy and he had no clue what I said. The bagged was in the same place. Lost. He packed our bags do badly that he broke our eggs and smashed our pretzels and bread. Awful. And when you let the manager know he doesnt have time nor does he really care. Ill be supporting Clarks Market from now on.

A no frills grocery store for the budget conscious traveller that is setting up a base to travel to Aspen/Marble or Glenwood Springs. Its conveniently located off the 133 highway that connects Carbondale to Marble so that you can stop in and pick up some groceries and have the option of some healthier and cost effective meals, some ice cream treats to stash in the hotel freezer to sate the sweet tooth or stock up on snacks for the drive.

As of the moment they are trying to remodel while keeping their doors open. When ever I go in there its like a riot. Terrible service and amazingly poor selection. The parking lot is terrible and the entrance is in an alley! Dont go in there. Shop anywhere but there. It is chaotic and ugly. Take my advice. But if you dont, and you do go inside you will see what I mean and you will be sorry.

What a pathetic place for Aspen! Guess what though, you really dont have much of a choice for grocery shopping. The parking lot is incredibly small and the store is even smaller! The parking all around the store lot is pay parking and is of confusing. I can only imagine how much of a nightmare this store is in the Winter! The town honestly should have considered a better location.

Tried calling the bakery and the woman picked up the phone and I could hear everything. Very POOR customer service. She never even greeted me! Tried calling again and phone was off the hook! Called the front end to ask for additional assistance and the same was done to me. Picked up the phone and set it down without greeting me!!! Horrible horrible! Will never shop there!

The food was really good as well as the service but it was way over priced my son and I had two appetizers each I had a green tea and a sparkling water which I did not know is going to be $9 for a bottle. I paid $85 which was totally ridiculous to me. If you can afford it you wont be disappointed in the food but the portions were very small as well

Staff members are always friendly and helpful, but this store is always crowded. With tight narrow isles, this makes shopping not very quick or enjoyable. Additionally, there is not much variety in products - assume that there is only one brand of each product, and only the most expensive one, too.

Amazing variety in a small space. Often crowded so pick your time of day (4p-6p is often bad). It helps to speak spanish and/or be patient; dont worry, they move the crowd through. There is a mark-up, but not so bad for where it is (central location in Aspen).

I mean, its a City Market in Aspen, what do you expect? Everything is crammed on top of everything, but would you expect anything less in Aspen. I have to say if you need something they are sure to have it, just dont expect a wide selection of it.

Only place to buy groceries in and around Aspen. Like any other king soopers/Kroger/city market but a great place to stop to grab something for breakfast, snacks for hike, supplies for camping, or a picnic lunch while staying in Aspen

Excellent deli. Fresh sushi - even in Colorado. Nice selection of fresh produce. Fresh baked bread. Overall a great grocery store in spite of its compact size, and it is within easy walking distance of downtown Aspen.

This is the affordable market in town (with a butcher shop and liquor store next door). Still not cheap, but certainly the most affordable of the Aspen markets. And the staff is great & quality of food is high.

The cheapest place for groceries in Aspen, friendly staff, on season is super busy and parking is impossible, off season a bit more tamed. Great deli and seafood, more expensive than your usual City Market.

Great staff! Everyone is so nice and kind to my family. The store is small and does get crowded, but all stores in Aspen are small because its a small valley. I can always find what Im looking for.

Nice store with quality goods. Very small store and parking lot (even the shopping carts are teny), but hey its Aspen. The prices are the same as every other city market so its a local favorite.

Awesome deli section, recently remodeled, restrooms downstairs, amazing variety, fabulous produce, take lunch or dinner to go. Parking is an issue when busy. Shop early or late, not at 5:00pm.

Typical Supermarket, but at the time I was there, it was quite smelly. Perhaps something had gone off in the meat section? Other than that, quality selection for a town the size of Aspen.

Cramped and not very many products, but staff is good. They also have to stock stuff constantly cause they get bought out of alot of items. Best place to get affordable food in Aspen.
