Many years ago I worked in the SF Valley, I was about a block away from The Duke of Bourbon and visited almost every Friday to pick up 2 to 6 bottles for my many weekend parties. I presently live in Westlake Village and was delighted to see the Duke move into my neighborhood. Visiting them again was great especially after I found out these guys are celebrating 60 years in the fine wine, spirits, cigars and the gift baskets business too. Thats why they say - "The Duke Knows Wine". The owner, Xavier (A delightful and knowledgeable Frenchman) has taken his wine boutique vision up a few notches with a nice patio and wine bar addition. Also enjoy tasty chef made Appetizers, Breads and French cheeses to go with the rare wines, scotches and whiskeys. Any bottle in the store can be opened and served by the glass too! The DOB has so many choices fit for a King, collector or even the people next door with the smart value wine program they support. Very cool wine tastings are held Thursday thru Saturday during the late afternoon and evening.

Xavier is great at surprising you with a wine youll enjoy, within you budget. Ive never been disappointed. His patio is a great spot to hang out on summer nights, and the cheese platters and French Onion Soup through his Gourmet Lab are incredibly yummy.

Rare wines great prices. Excellent service from the owner Mr. Xavier, he is the best with wine experienced. Love the cheeses at Duke... And of course from his staffs service, we are always happy, especially the new bigger patio, it is very relaxing.
