I live about 2 1/2 miles from The Green Jug. I moved to the area about 2 years ago and it quickly became my "go to" bottle shop. Now, admittedly, the San Fernando Valley can be a bit of a beer wasteland, but places like the Jug are going a long way to change that. This is a pretty big store, well lit with an easy to navigate layout. The big key to the store though, the reason that makes it my first stop, is the fact that probably 95% of the beer in the store is stored in their fridges. Its kept properly cold and out of the light from the moment it leaves the distributors truck until you carry it out to you car. This is key for a store in IPA heaven (aka California). The service is also top notch. I was first introduced to the store when I called to see if they carried Firestone Walkers Parabola, which had its first bottled release right around when I moved to the area. They didnt have any yet, but the gentleman on the phone took down my cell number. About a week later I got a call informing me that two bottles were waiting for me at the store. This is for a first-time customer, not a regular (although that has definitely changed). Not to sound cheesy, but they had me shortly after I answered my phone and said "Hello". Keep up the fine work!

Green Jug Fine Wine & Spirits is hard to find but its worth it because they have such a great variety of wines and other fine spirits. Try wine tasting (for free if you like) or pay for more tastings and keep the glass. The food is scrumptious too. They display it on tables so youre fully aware of what you will be getting when you order it. You just let them know what you like, cafeteria-style but much better. Plus youre able to purchase bottles of beer or wine, or you can go by the glass and have it at your table. Thy seat you so youre not overwhelmed. Green Jug Fine Wine & Spirits provides you with a good food and wine experience.

Always stock our bar from Bev Mo thinking the prices were lower. Not true, not only does this store offer lower prices but they stock some very unique, interesting and newer brands of alcohol made from small companies. Very hip place, Ill never shop anywhere else and Mike was so knowledgable! Ready to Party!

Almost every alcohol you could think of from Sake, to Gin, to Tequila. Great store, very clean, pretty large with a variety of choices. Im here weekly. Even though competition exists (BevMo, Total Wine), Green Jug stays competitive with great low prices and tons of variety. Parking is very easy and spacious.

You WILL get the best beer selection here. The staff is knowledgeable and the beers arent severely over-priced like a couple of craft beer sellers in the valley. Their hours are on point and so are the Thursday tastings.
