I recently purchased a pre-owned Ducati Monster 1200s from The Motor Café, I say pre-owned instead of used due to pristine condition the previous owner traded this bike in. The ENTIRE process of buying this bike was something out of a dream. Jose, (the gentleman who took his time with me and answered all of the questions I had without sounding frustrated or impatient) was one of the best salesman I could have had the opportunity to work with. NO pressure and ZERO BS he helped me figure out what I really needed to be riding instead of trying to upsell me into something I didnt. His product knowledge was a big part in the decision making process. These guys know what theyre talking about. Also, I want to recognize Bill in the financing department. Bill is a no BS financing Maestro, a people person whos good natured deamnor and can do attitude makes the process of aquiring ones dream (if its a bike) almost too easy. All in all, The Motor Café made my experience the way it should be, an easy, knowledgeable, friendly, no pressure/stress free process. I only had the opportunity to work these 2 gentleman and another sales associate who works in the parts department who spent over an hour with me talking about helemets, jackets, sizing, etc. On June 3rd, 2016 the staff at this dealership helped me achieve a life long goal; to own a Ducati. I couldnt have gone to a better place in my opinion! Thanks guys! Love the bike!!

I have brought my bike here for service and parts. I dont know exactly what the other reviewers did or were not happy with. Every time i come here they are patient and try their best to fit me in last minute. I show them respect and let them do their jobs and in turn they have every time tried shaving dollars off of the quoted amount, and going the extra mile with me. My battery on my 696 died this winter and i needed a swap out and they said if they get the part from the dealer its 130 but if they use the same battery they have in stock it will shave off 20$, so he "Mark" walked over from service to the parts dept and picked one up personally while i waited. That is a class act. Then I was late getting in at 11:30 cause i called too late for a tow to bring the bike in. No hills at all where i live so starting it on a flat is pretty hard from cold, but he still got me in today and knowing him he will probably get it completed today as well. As for pricing, they are standard at $95 an hour. Its a dealership and i wouldnt even expect it to be that low. Most mechanics are $65 to $75 so for $20 bucks more for them to take it responsibly is great for me, so I dont have to worry about having to clear space in my garage to work on it. Maybe one day they will make a mistake with me or damage something, but so far my service there has been in a word Excellent.

I stopped by this shop today not to buy a bike, nor to get service...or even to try out a few. Instead, I needed help finding the engine # on my existing bike to register it from out-of-state. The guys here were incredibly helpful - from taking the initial inquiry call to looking for the number on a similar CBR600rr that they had in stock. Honestly, it was a pain - they had to move the bike this way and that, crouch down onto the asphalt, fetch a flash light, etc. etc. But we found it! This alone was testament to the friendliness of the crew - after all, they could have just told me to Google it or look at the parts chart on my own, seeing that I wasnt there to buy anything. Many kudos there. As a female rider, its also been a constant pet peeve having salesmen and service guys "talk down", whether at a car or bike dealership. These guys didnt. In fact, I ended up staying a bit longer chatting with one of the sales guys, Jose, about the new Ducati Monsters, Japanese vs. European bikes, and other stuff. He was even game letting me hop on a couple, for fun. They have a great sportbike selection -- Ducatis, KTM, Kawasaki, Hondas. From the 1000+ cc to smaller intro bikes (250-300cc). If youre in the market for a new bike (esp. curious future lady riders), I highly recommend checking out Motor Cafe!

Their service department is like a motorcycle graveyard. There are TONS of bikes piled up that need parts and service and have been forgotten. I come to them with a simple problem, they take apart the bike and leave it in pieces while I wait a month for parts to come in. They do not listen when I describe issues to them (such as a slipping clutch) and dismiss my comments. They talk to me like I dont know anything about motorcycles. Also, be very careful about what paperwork you sign. They had me sign for work that they assured me the insurance company would pay for, and then called me weeks later to make me pay for it after the insurance company said it wasnt necessary. They hit me up for more than my deductible. They have even tried to double bill me for parts I ordered and neglected to call me when the parts came in. Their customer service is an absolute mess and I would avoid this shop at all costs.

Edit! --> Second Review: This is my second review. A lot has changed since my last visit and looks like there are new amazing people to take care of a customer and my latest experience has been really great. Just be ok with leaving your ride for a day for them to take a look at for a day and you should be receiving a warm, welcoming service from Ducati @ motorcafe :) Hence the 5 stars First review: I wish the sales and service were two different entities for reviews here. The service has Really really greedy douchebags. Seems like they get trained to buy time and charge ridiculously for the smallest of things. They are not too patient and respond as if they are doing you a favor. The sales on the other hand is pretty neat. They are really really helpful, answer all questions, are patient, polite and work with you on the price.

These bait-and-switchers are not worth your time. Avoid this place if you can, very deceptive practices. Contacted them over email, specifically regarding out-the-door pricing of a Monster 796, the sales guy (Daniel) sent me quote. These were his words: "As far as pricing goes they typically go for $10,493, including all fees, taxes and registration." I was deciding between a used 696 and this, and so this seemed like a good price for a new bike. So I decided to drop by in person. After showing me the bike and everything, we started talking money at which point he increased his quote by over $2000!! He claimed, very casually, that he made a "mistake". He didnt even bother apologizing. Obviously that was the end of that and I walked out. Thanks for wasting my time. These bait-and-switchers are not worth your time.

Service department needs to just close down and disappear. Took multiple visits to fix a faulty starter motor on a hypermotard 821. Always blamed on me, apparently... I wasn`t pressing the starter long enough... then on my second visit i was releasing the starter button at TDC... just full of BS. Third visit when the bike would just plain not start ... so they had to fix it. Diagnosed the problem wrong and changed the started clutch... so had to bring the bike back again and they finally fixed the starter motor. When they finally fixed it, they test rode the bike without the filler oil plug on and returned the bike to me covered in oil. I took it as it was since I ll never return there for service and did not trust them to leave the bike with them anymore. Never again !
