10/9/14 While killing time before a dinner at the nearby Basque Cultural Center, my husband and I walked around the streets of South San Francisco. We visited the Library (even though it was closed, walked up the stairs of the beautiful City Hall, and then went into South City Discount Outlet (only because we parked our car in front of the place.) Inside were all the typical trinkets youd expect to find in a little Asian markets. Lots of plastic knick-knacks, sandals, fake flowers, miniature waterfall fountains, and so on. Nothing that I needed or wanted, but it was fun to walk around for a minute. Seemed like the kind of store youd find in a more touristy area, but we were there on a weekend so perhaps the streets are busier around here during the week.
