6-27-14. Re: just wanted to know if a GE Microwave was in stock! Should be simple, right!? Right now, I am ON HOLD with this store...STILL on hold after 12 minutes. Heres what Ive been experiencing: The receptionist answers, then "tries" to transfer me to the Appliance Dept. I have been kicked back to the Receptionist multiple times. After the 3rd time/transfer, I asked for the Store Manager, who informed me the Appliance person was right next to him. Store Manager TRANSFERRED a 4th time. Appliance person picks up and asks me for a SKU. No SKU, only model number on the website. Gave him the model no, and he put me on HOLD for several minutes...doesnt say: "may I place you on hold", just does it. Then comes back and tells me the unit isnt in stock. I asked him when I will be, doesnt know, and tells me to order it online. I NEED a FRICKIN microwave NOW, which I why I need to find one IN STOCK. Home Depot, to avoid this situation, can you please allow your consumers the ability to SEE if an item is IN STOCK, so we can avoid the awful phone call experience? Thank you.

Every time I visit home depot Im sure to say high and ask for help from Sonny. He is always smiling and you can find him working hard when you cant find anyone else in the ENTIRE store! Hes helped me load on his day off, always helps, gives amazing advice on getting my projects done thank goodness because Im lost sometimes and always makes us smile and laugh, hes a blessed one, I do NOT appreciate the manner in which the management there speaks to or treats there employees what so ever!! Its Because of Sonny Icontinue shopping at Simi Valleys Home Depot and I am not alone in saying this! :) thank you Sonny God bless you, keep smiling!

I was in the paint department today and was harassed continuously by that mentally disturbed Joyce. I kept telling her I did not want her help and that Bob was helping me just fine. So not only did she continue to harass me she started harassing Bob, as well. Even when I was walking away from her she kept talking and harassing me. I felt completely violated by her passive aggressive anger. That women should NOT be working with the public. The ONLY thing she was doing behind the paint counter was standing and confusing the other workers with her annoying power tripping. She was of no help whatsoever...quite the opposite.

Shopping was fine. But when we left the after 30 minutes of shopping, our car was dented and scratched with an orange mark from a Home Depot shopping cart. We reported to the manager Raymond De la O, and he took down info, took pictures and said he would notify their insurance company and that the insurance company will contact us. Hopefully Raymond and Home Depot will resolve and pay for the incident.

Really bad customer services unhelpful and lazy I returned something but just because has nothing wrong they wont wanted take it back even I had the 90 days policy and also they charge 15% when I buy there unbelievable.... ask twice about the return policy before you buy it I recommended to go to lowes they have not questions for you when you returned !!!!!!!!!

I always find the healthiest and strongest, prettiest plant at this place. And the prices are very reasonable.Gil, the owner, is very accommodating, makes sure the plants are clean before wrapping and helpful with parking.I can always find what I want here and have an enjoyable experience they know their plants..they are like family. I always go there first.

This store is dirty, and does not have basic items in stock! Plumbing and irrigation supplies are poorly organized. The store is cluttered and dark. Try to get help from an assistant, good luck! I recommend the Lowes in Simi as a much better experience. The best Home Depot Im the area is in Camarillo - awesome store

Convenient if your familiar with the store id recommend self checkout the cashiers are rude and dont get wood that isnt accurately the size you need unless you plan to cut it yourself because precise measurements arent cut here is what the staff will say when you need anything around 1/8 off cut off Thats Awesome

Tool Rental department is great! I just recently purchased a house in Simi Valley. Rented a few items like a pressure washer, a carpet cleaner, and a few other tools. They had great customer service and the guys at the front even helped me load the items in and out of my car NICEEEE!!! Good prices too :)

Dont call these guys regarding carpet. Adam, the manager there, apparently hates his job and doesnt like answering the phone. Hes distracted, rude and treats EVERY question as a stupid question. This is not a customer service-oriented department if that guy made it to management.

Harry in the Electrical Department warrants 6 stars if that were possible. He helped my wife and I repair a broken switch on a table lamp that someone else had told us would cost $70 to repair. You dont get customer service like that many places anymore. Thanks Harry!!!!!

Great place to go for anything. Just like most The Home Depots they have everything you can think of but this one has awesome employees that are nice and helpful and know what the heck they are talking about. Plus they will deliver anything you cant fit in your vehicle.

I found everything I was looking for. The only complain I have for this store is that its too big and I have to walk a lot. I guess I am just lazy thats all, but other than that this store is great and the customer service is very good too.

OK - Samuel was the best. My foreman said he was super helpful and gave us a discount on siding for our project. He is in Home Depot a lot and asked me to give this review - so ya gotta know the dude was outstanding!

6-20-2017 this store is a mess, in stock items are not on the shelf. Under staffed , miserable employees, dirty parking lot, I was also on hold for 14min 56 seconds with zero apologies. Management must go!!!!

Those are the slowest laziest people Ive ever seen in my life had to wait in line for almost 30 minutes unbelievable. Im talking about the garden department one Checker 20 people in line.
