I researched for over two months before finally ordering a venus flytrap. I had ordered some sundews from another nursery so I had an idea of what to expect the health of the plant to be after shipping. Upon arrival when I opened the box I was stunned and amazed to see the plant. It was in fantastic condition...If I hadnt ordered it myself I would never believe it was shipped across the entire country from California to South Carolina. After putting it on the porch it caught two bugs within the first hour. I cannot rave enough about the great care California Carnivores put in to make sure I received more than I could have expected. If you are searching for carnivorous plants, I highly recommend you consider buying from California Carnivores.

This is the go to place for your carnivorous plants. Ive ordered several times via mail order and all plants arrived in fantastic shape. Never any problems. I planned a road trip to Sebastopol just to "go shopping" at California Carnivores a few years ago and Im I planning my next visit in September. My last 5 to 6 hour round trip was well worth the experience.
