Dirty & poorly lit, and -in spite of what the name implies- not everything is 99 cents. That is not clearly indicated on many items. They are, however, walking distance from a lot of students residences; they have a good grocery section and reasonably good ?fresh? produce.

Great bargains but I would rather go to a Dollar Tree since everything there is 1 dollar or less. For some reason the 99 cent stores do not follow the same philosophy and they have things for more than 1 dollar

Surprisingly nice selection & service for this type of place. Great deals on toothpaste & canned food. Lots of odds & ends that you will be motivated to buy. Can walk out with $50 of stuff.

This is a big dollar store with lots of stuff. We just spent 30 dollars here and got plenty of Disney Frozen birthday decorations for my daughters 5th birthday.
