I saw an ad for a heavily discounted 2012 CBR250R and called ahead to ask about availability. I think his name was Todd, he was a bit short about answering but Ill admit I had a lot of questions for him. After that, I went in on the weekend and after deliberating over color choice I had them run my credit to see if I qualified. I was expecting to leave with a decline, but eventually Honda agreed to put me on a bike. It was actually kind of funny because when I asked about the Ninja 250 he flat out told me Kawasaki didnt approve me. Erica helped me when I first came in, and then I think Efron helped as well. Both the sales people were extremely helpful and patient - and neither one of them really pressured me into picking anything that I wasnt ready to go with. When I was signing paperwork, I got "suckered" into an extended warranty, but to be honest, it wasnt a bad deal since it was HondaCare, haha. Another thing that was funny was when I got there there were 2 black cbr250s and two reds, but by the time I finally made my decision two of them were off the showroom floor. The apparel sales guy was extremely nice, and answered all my questions even though I didnt end up buying any gear, just maintenance stuff. Overall, it was a great experience, didnt take too long (3+ hours vs all day when I bought my car), and I left with a great bike. Maintenance took his time to explain to me everything I should know about my new ride, but then hilariously found out it wasnt my bike I was looking at but the identical black cbr250 that I mentioned was sold to someone else as I was "shopping." I would definitely do business with them again, even if it took an hour+ ride in the rain to get back home that night. Thanks Temple City.

I took my 09 KLR650 in for a service a couple times...first time they did a good job on the service, replaced a missing gasket that was causing an oil leak, cleaned up the leaked oil, replaced a missing bolt on the hand guard (I hadnt mentioned that so they noticed it and repaired it as part of the normal service) and overall seem to have done a pretty good job with it. I would give them 5 stars but I had to make an appointment 4 days in advance to get a "drop it off by lunch and we will have it done by the end of the day" commitment and when it dropped it off they said they wanted it over night because they were busy. Also somebody made a clerical error causing me to be double charged for some parts which I had to come back later to fix. The second time I brought my bike in for service everything went well. They do "the little things" like clean rear view mirrors that just make you feel good picking up the bike. On the other hand, once again they needed the bike longer than I originally hoped because they didnt have a reasonably priced dual sport tire in stock or available quickly. Their sales department is on par with other motorcycle dealerships and used car dealerships, which I consider to be an extremely low standard. Annoying sales folks who cant quote "out the door" prices, unclear dealer fees, etc. Makes me miss OTD Cyclesports.

Very disappointed at this business, I want to support my local business; especially the store shares my passion. Beside there are thing you just cant buy online like a pair of gloves. So I bought a pair of gloves from this store a couple weeks ago. I wore it once, ridding back home. I found a slight break at the seam in one of the gloves. It looks like a factory design defect. I went return it today. I showed the staff I bought it from the defect and asked if I can return it. Suddenly this guy Max interrupted us and told me there is no cash return. I then ask if I can get a store credit. He said no and could only exchange another pair for me. I seriously doubt it is my only option. So I asked if I can see the store return policy. "I am the store policy" he said. Thats it, he was acting like this bad boy motorcyclist stereotype, and obviously I can not reason with him. I complied with the exchange, but they did not have another pair with my size. Anyway he finally agreed to refund my purchase with a 20% restocking fee. Please ask for return policy before you buy anything from them. California civil code section 1723 requires all retail to display their return policy. P.S check out other reviews on Southern California Motorsport at google, with the same address as Temple City Powersports

My wife and I decided that it was time to stop dreaming about bikes and actually do it. I had researched my little heart out finding the perfect beginner bikes, and after our MSF course we were ready to buy. After hitting up 11 dealerships I had started to lose faith that wed ever get moving. Every dealership we went to wanted to put me on a 1000CC bike about four thousand above our budget. Salesmen would COMPLETELY ignore my wife. Finally we took the almost two hour drive to TCPS and I could not have been happier. The salesmen listened to what we were looking for, helped us find bikes well within our budget, and even delivered!!! We were treated respectfully and the gentleman that helped us even told me that one bike that I was eying was too much for a beginner like me. It would have been an easy sale but he had my safety in mind as well. Both bikes that we purchased were very well maintained and the shop manager went over, in written detail, the maintenance schedule for both vehicles. I truly wish this company had a store in the Palmdale/Lancaster area because their accessories were very well priced as well. Believe me, you have found your new dealer/accessory shop!

I know I rated them "Excellent" in all three categories. Well they deserve it. I suddenly made my mind to buy a motorcycle, so did some research and found Honda CBR 250R(Non-ABS) is the one I can start with my ride. Now its come to search for good dealer and "Excellent" deal. I call three dealers for the quote Gdale Honda - $5000( $3999 + rest) Berts - $5400 ($3799 + rest) Now TCPS - $4199 ($2999+ rest) . Honestly i called TCPS first as they are located near my home and I suddenly decided buy motorcycle moreover I wanted the same day before I change my mind ;) The price difference says half story now their customer service is excellent. I dont remember his name but he is manager their who helped me to choose between ABS and Non ABS model . Efrain already given me excellent quote, Erica helped me with all paper work and Brain (the finance guy ) final bought the bike in my hand. Only thing I didnt like is they never told me all those finance charges. It was just $180 bucks but I hate hidden stuffs; thats kind of make bad impact for future business. Overall I am very happy and highly recommend TCPS to anyone looking to buy motocycle

I am an out-of-towner who was in desperate need a new water pump for VTX1800C on very short notice. These folks were able to service my bike the same day I called. The mechanic was obviously very knowledgable and overcame some unexpected problems very skillfully at no additional expense to me. Moreover, the charge for the work was very reasonable. The entire staff was friendly and courteous, and they seemed truly committed to getting the job right and sending me on my way with confidence. I have dealt with many different dealers over the years and would rate this dealership among the best. Before inquiring about repairing my bike, I spoke with one of Temple City Powersports customers about their service. He informed that they had gone through some management problems in the past that had hurt their reputation but that their service had improvely immensely after a change in management. Everything he told me was born out through my own experience. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone in need of repairs on their bike.
