Bad reversing. Drive safe and use your all your mirrors and look everywhere when backing out. Bad parking causes other people to park bad. Most people dont seem to care. Rear view mirrors must be a super luxury item, i swear. I also want to mention that this store closes at 8pm. This last guy came over saying online it says 9pm but I checked and just like before, online the store says 8pm. So dont come at me with attitude cause you looked at the hours for the wrong store. It doesnt matter how many minutes you drove, thats your mistake.

Its a nice market to find specific Japanese food or ingredients. The one in LA is bigger and nicer, but this one is more accessible. Though, I would note some of the more common Japanese ingredients may not be as cheap compared to other Asian markets. It all depends on how common they are. The pre-made bento boxes and foods are usually what I come here for and they are excellent! Just warm up the bento boxes before eating or the rice and other foods will be hard from refrigeration.

This Mitsuwa does not offer as many niceties as other local Mitsuwas, like the one in Torrance or Costa Mesa; it does not have a food court or a variety of local small businesses. It is pretty much just a smaller grocery store, but it does offer a lot of items that you may not be able to find at a local Ralphs or Trader Joes. It is a great place to grab some sushi and go, if you need a quick fix, and the workers are all extremely polite.

This Mitsuwa is much smaller than the ones in Torrance or Costa Mesa, or Tokyo Central in West Covina. It carries the essentials and a limited amount of fresh produce. There isnt a food court, but you can purchase bento boxes, nigiri, rolls and baked goods. Discounted bento boxes available right before closing. Tips: drive slowly into/out of the parking lot if you dont want to scratch your bumper because the ramp is quite steep.

This Mitsuwa is decent, the space is much smaller than many of the other locations and it doesnt have a food court, though it does have a small ready-to-eat section. The grocery store is good to get any specialty Japanese items if thats what youre looking for. I must say I am really sad that they no longer have their spicy tuna rolls, I used to get them for lunch at least once a week, but they have not had it for a while now.

The sashimi and pre-made sushi isnt that fresh and I would much rather go to their competitor a few blocks away for that (shhh... Yama Supermarket). However, Ive come here to buy slices of watermelon, japanese ice cream and other cuts of meat for hot pot. If they had better grade sashimi and sushi, Id come here a lot more often, but until then, Ill visit maybe twice in a year.

This is store is no nonsense. They have a good selection of Japanese snacks and products. The produce was lacking in selection and quantity. The interior is a bit dated and gloomy but the staffs very courteous. Its an alright store, but i rather make the drive to Little Tokyo 15 minutes away to a bigger store with more selection.

The only few Japanese Supermarket in the area, price is pricey in most part. You can get most of the item in 99 ranch in even lower price. It doesnt make sense to me. However they do occasion had good discount item, those worth to check it out. Their premade food is general pretty good.

Small market, it does carry most of the japanese products usually found in the regular MItsuwa market. The people there are always friendly and helpful. They also have pre-made meals but those sell out quickly so make sure to get them early in the day.

店很小,但是很正宗的日本货,不过大部分是中国人韩国人,略贵,最好吃的凉皮没了,所以没有五星

Enjoyed our visit to this Japanese goods store. They have really good prices on hard to find items, or items otherwise sold at ridiculous prices at 99 Ranch or similar. We purchased noodles and sake at this particular visit.

Small Japanese market for all of your Japanese grocery needs. It doesnt have a big selection compared to other mitsuwa markets in LA but still manages to pack in a lot of the essentials youd need for Japanese cooking.

I love coming here to get onigiris. Just beware that they run out pretty quick during lunch time. I came here at 3pm once and was sad theres none left, I should have known there wouldnt be any at that time though.

This mitsuwa is small and doesnt have everything Im use to. I use to shop at the one is West LA. But if youre looking for something you can only get from a Japanese market, this is a good place to start

This is one of the more expensive Asian markets in the area. But its a really good place to pick up some Kewpie mayo, furikake, and mentaiko. I dont know if I spelled any of those words correctly.

I found daifukumochi and wonderful "fresh/frozen" udon noodles. People are nice, place is smallish but clean. Prices are not cheap but ok for area and imported Japanese goods :)

Love Mitsuwa Markets. Great market to get fresh grade sashimi meats. The only downside is that the market is 4× smaller than your normal Mitsuwa Markets. Overall still good.

Best local Japanese market with biggest selection. Everything else is mom and pops with very limited selection. Fresh sushi and ice to help keep it cold until you get home.

I really like to get sushi here but it is pretty expensive, but if you want GOOD sushi you have to drive a bit farther. And I love it cuz of all the anime!! Anime 4 LIFE

A bit smaller than other Mitsuwas I have been to. Still pretty decent selection of Asian snacks and produce. Parking wasnt an issue and veggies looked pretty decent.

Small local grocery. I was hoping it would be like the one in Torrance, but it was only a small store. Very nice though.

Japanese market with great foods and reasonable price. But it is too small compare with their other locations.
