The selection and the price is great... coming from AZ thought It weird when said cashier said " you dont want a bag right?" When the whole counter was covered in items. I said why wouldnt I. She then told me it 10 (cant believe of all the symbols offered on my phone they dont have the cent sign) cents a bag. I then started laughing like a madman. I told the lady Ive heard they charge for bags here but never believed it so I asked for four. Lady even asked if Im using EBT which made me feel like was I dressed a bum? Even though I just bought the clothes tonight before because Im here on business. Or is everyone on welfare here? The next night I went back as it is very close to the hotel and I dont know anybody here. I asked why the lady asked me that. It was another CSR at this time. She told me that they are supposed to ask everyone that. With EBT you can get free bags. The next night I went back and bought 10 bags so I can use them in Arizona because theyre very strong and durable but I figured I can make a difference where Im at so I recommend this 99 Cent Store to anyone looking for anything. Take care and live frugal for the things that really matter deserve more of your $

This store is really nice and they even have bathing suits. I just felt like the employees were stereotyping me. I am Hispanic and my husband is bald and stands at 62" and well we just went in quickly for a floated, on our wash to Hurricane Harbor, and we saw the bathing suits. About three employees started surrounding us pretending to organize an already very clean and empty store. Them when we got to the register the cashier pointed out the price which I already knew it posted very clearly on the item and where it was displayed. Then I paid and he checked my 20 and 1 dollar bill for counterfeit. I felt very uncomfortable but I get this alot. The store is very stocked with items I never seen before.

I asked for help from a nice gentleman employee of the 99 cents, who was happy to assist me by going to the storage in order to obtain the type and kind of water that I wanted. The staff I have encountered have all been great, nice and friendly! Great shopping experience at this HUGE 99 cents store!
