They tout that they are one of the best places to work in America (via Outside Magazine)...and I must agree...at least from the employees perspective... From the customers perspective...this company is really bad... To start...the store is open from 9-5 M-F...which means if you are a working person...they are NEVER available...before your work...after your work...or on the weekends... ...but dont worry...if you need to have your questions answered...you can call to talk directly with a Optician with expanded hours...so I did...I called...in the mornings...in the late afternoon...on the weekend...and each and every time...all I got was a machine telling me to leave a message... Now I understand that maybe they just tout themselves as an internet company that really doesnt have live customer service people (one way to be the best place to work is never having to actually show up or talk to customers)...so I tried to order some prescription sunglasses online...only I couldnt actually find a place to enter my prescription online...they gave me 3 options... 1) E-mail my prescription to them (hoping that a live person might actually respond) 2) Fax it to them (who has fax machines anymore?) 3) Take a photo of the prescription and then e-mail it to them... Then I needed to take a photo of my face so they could then determine my pupil spacing by holding up a credit card or tape measure to my face and then e-mail that to them... Heres a much easier idea...just allow customers to come into your store (at a convenient time for your customers...not necessarily for your employees) so they can actually see the frames on their face...hand your prescription to their customer service person and ask them to take the appropriate measurements... In the end...I wound up going to a competitor...who was open on a Saturday afternoon...and my new sunglasses will be delivered within the week...

I dont leave many reviews because, like many of us, Im too often let down. Im an ol west Texas boy, been hunting and in the outdoors my whole life. I was born with a strabismus, cross eyed, back then they didnt know you need to fix that in the first year, mine was fixed when I was 3, as a result I have monocular vision. I see close with my right eye, far with my left. Plays havoc shooting unless I have optics, hard to read a green when playing golf, hard to shoot white wing...etc. Ive been putting off buying Rx sun/shooting glasses for many years, just needed to spend money on other things. Cancer and treatment didnt help my vision, 48 years on this earth didnt help either. At 48 I now have a 4 year old boy and recovered from cancer so Im back out and involved in sports and wanting to pull the trigger again but cant see worth a damn to do either without glasses. I finally broke down and ordered some Wiley-X Slays with the smoke green lenses, progressive bifocals, polarized with some scratch protection. I cant believe just how good they are! Great contrast with the perfect level of protection from the Texas sun. The clarity is spot on, perfect Rx lenses! The service was top notch and I opted for the Rush Shipping, 1-2 weeks, but they arrived in 6 days. What you dont understand, this is more than a service and product review... I can go outdoors and play ball with my boy, can go shoot again and experience what a father and son should. This is what SportRx gave me and for that I am very grateful. Worth every single penny 100 times over to be able to experience what I thought I might not live to see. Thank you for the great service and a superb product. Ill be back.

I have bought two pairs of prescription glasses from SportRx., a pair of Oakleys (which I am wearing in my profile picture playing golf in Ireland) and a Nike2. An avid golfer, the Oakleys have a darker lens than the Nike2 to allow for different conditions, but both were set up with the pre-selected lense packages for golf. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase for both pairs, and they have served me well in Scotland, Ireland and England as well as here at home. I was able to use my flex spending and HSA accounts for both pairs, which brought the cost down below what I would have paid for a non-prescription pair for either brand. I have different prescriptions for near and far, so I purchased the no-line progressive lenses for both pairs, and couldnt be more pleased with my purchases. When I originally received my Oakleys, one lens seemed a little off, but one phone call to customer service took care of that. I returned the glasses and received personal emails from my optometrist, Tyler Andersen. They sent me a return shipping label, and I received the repaired lenses back in no time at all. In addition to selling superior products, the customer service at SportRx is unbeatable! I experienced a very high level of attention to customer satisfaction at each stage of the purchasing process and afterwards. I bought again after my first pair, and will definitely use SportRX for my needs again in the future. Unbeatable products, prices and service. What more can you ask?

Short version: excellent customer service, very decent prices for prescription sunglasses, and reliable for order to Australia. I found the entire process of ordering through SportRx to be absolutely fantastic, and would easily recommend this place to anyone. I was purchasing a pair of prescription sunglasses for mountaineering, and as it was the most I have spend on any sort of prescription eyeglasses yet, I was a little nervous. In dealing with Kristin she put to rest any reservations I had, helped me through the process of ordering, and offered good recommendations based on what I was looking for. Kristin was great the entire time, and having a single point of contact for all my queries definitely made it a better shopping experience. She patiently and comprehensively answered all the questions I threw her way, as this was my first pair of mountaineering sunglasses there were a lot! By the time it came to finalise the order, I had all the confidence in the final product that SportRx would be sending me. The glasses arrived safely with fast shipping to Australia, and were packed very securely. The glasses themselves are of very high quality, with very clear well made lenses. For me it was a lot of money to spend in one go, but to be honest it cost me less than half of what I might pay locally in Australia, so it was a bargain for what I got. Sometimes life hands you lemons, and while youre busy making lemonade, sometimes the Universe decides to chew up two pairs of your rather pricey prescription glasses in two consecutive months. Thats pretty much how I found out about SportRx, who have quickly and cheerfully solved the rather vexing problem of finding high quality designer prescription glasses online, at reasonable prices, and in very short order. Ive dealt with two different SportRx reps so far, and theyve both been incredibly patient and helpful, taking the time to answer my questions and fine-tune the orders such that there were no surprises, other than pleasant ones. The digital lens upgrade they have on offer rivals the optical clarity Ive seen in the past from the Oakley labs, which is really saying something. Coming from a couple decades worth of Oakleys, Ive opted for Kaenon frames for both (scrip sunglass and eyeglass) replacements this time out, and was a bit nervous about the quality of the lenses and frames I would receive. As it turns out, I didnt need to be, and neither should you. These folks clearly know what theyre doing, and have a keen customer-centric focus. I highly recommend SportRx for their professionalism, top-quality products, and exceptional customer service. Hopefully, the Universe has chewed up enough of my eyewear for the time being, but if not, Ill be back again for sure.
