Allan Riveras tattoo expertise is top notch. I recently had 2 sessions for a realism portrait tattoo and I am grateful for his quality of art work and great energy! Allan created a beautiful, detailed tattoo of a portrait of my parents from 1945 on my camera arm. People often ask, "is that real?" Or "it looks like it was painted on your arm!" What a great honor to work with Allan! In addition, the artists at Renaissance are welcoming and professional. The environment is clean and relaxing. Thank you for helping me bring this memoir to life for my family. I look forward to continuing work with Allan. Thank you!

I have been coming to Renaissance now for about three years with Sancho as my artist, he has done a phenomenal job of not only making the process easy and working around my busy schedule but also taking my ideas and bringing them to life. Easily one of the best artists in SoCal and all around good guy. Sancho has done every piece I have and the work explains why that is. I highly recommend Renaissance Studio to anyone looking to get a tattoo, the atmosphere of the shop is exactly what you would expect and the quality of the Tattoo will be unmatched. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Went in and talked to Allan Rivera about getting a piece just a bit smaller than a quarter sleeve. Realistic black and white. When I showed him what I wanted done he agreed and said it would be a $200 down payment. After that I remained in contact with him about the tattoo and he quoted it way too expensive for what I was asking, and also refused to do the tattoo that I actually wanted, after I had already submitted my down payment. Never got my money back either. If you do decide to go here, dont go to Allan Rivera.

Its been a month and a half and I had not received a refund for a down payment from Kyle Loza. He scheduled my wife for an appointment and was an hour and 11 mins late so we left. He finally responded on after saying "today was only an consultation, my wife schedules my appointments." This is outrageous! His communication was minimum, so Id imagine his work ethic is too. The next step is serving a small claims suit against this establishment.

Reniassance studios is definitely the best tattoo spot in all of San Clemente in my opinion. Sancho is a kick ass artist who does amazing work, he did my chest and half sleeve and there is no one else I would rather go to in the future. I highly recommend Sancho or any of the artists at Renaissance to anyone looking to get some killer tattoos!

Kyle is an amazing artist. Make no mistake this studio isnt for the meek. Definitely sounds and feels like the tattoo shop yuor parents warned you about, but the resident artists are legit.
