Distinctive Body Art is, by far, one of the most professional, quality, and friendly tattoo and piercing shops youll find in the Orange County/LA area. Not only does the main tattoo artist and owner, Shaun, do quality quality work, more importantly, he treats his customers very well. Him and his apprentice are very friendly and will make any customer want to come back again and again for more piercings and tattoos. Anything one could possibly think of for a tattoo, or any mistake made by another artist, Shaun can do or fix. Best of all, Shaun is a no-BS kind of guy. He wont try and wiggle his way into your pocket for something you dont want. Hell voice his professional opinion for advice, let you decide and makes sure you know all the important information and all the dos and donts of treating your tattoo - not to mention his light and steady hand when working. You wont find a better shop around.

I highly recommend DBA and Sid. I went in for the daith piercing to try and get my headaches under control and I am thrilled with the results! Sid is super chill and really professional, she knows what shes talking about and has a very customer-oriented approach. She let me get comfortable before doing the piercing, and let me take time to decide whether or not to get the second ear done as well, after she had already done the first and marked the second. Shes super patient and didnt pressure me at all. The piercing is doing great two weeks later. She made sure I knew how to take care of it before I left.

The Studio is amazing, very clean. I have been pierced by Sid and she took the time to make sure I knew every thing I needed to take care of it and when I came back in she made sure to check on it every time couldnt ask more from her, shes amazing. Sid also tattoos, shes very light handed with her machines, with perfect line work. Ive also been tattooed by Shaun. Shaun is a master of his craft and has always been willing to work with me to get a design and style that would work best for me and is very quick with his machines. Couldnt ask for a better shop and artists.

GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Super friendly, non judgemental people that work there and their ink is fantastic! The piercings Ive gotten dont hurt at all and they helped me out with after care on my first tattoo. If you want an awesome experience, GO THERE. You wont regret it.

Shaun and Sid are both great and make you feel at home. One of the only places I am comfortable getting work done, I am willing to come down all the way from Sacramento. Shaun is an amazing artist, works quick, and charges very fair prices. Great shop!!!

Great vibe in the shop, puts you at ease and extremely friendly, both artists are great got one tattoo here and instantly came back to get started on another and now were working on my third piece together. Best shop in the area without a doubt.
