I visited today to look at a few VW Passats, and I was really hoping to buy one, but my experience left me wondering if the salesperson Ben was a con artist. Ben is no salesman; he did not try to sell me a car, he was reluctant to pull the vehicles out of he garage for a test drive, and told me that he didnt want to waste time pulling the cars out if I wasnt going to buy one. His only concern was to convey to me that he would not be responsible for any problems with the car after I had bought one. The cars I looked at seemed to be older than the odometer reading, and had all been sitting for quite some time. I asked him how long the cars had been there, and he refused to give me an answer, trying to dodge the question despite my repeated rephrasing of the same question. I noticed a smell of radiator fluid coming from the engine compartment of one, and found residual fluid leaking from the cars undercarriage. That car also had very strange sounds coming from the engine when running, that did not correspond to the mileage of the vehicle. The car I test drove seemed fine, until I switched on the headlights, and noticed intermittent flickering of the dash lighting. I smelled burnt oil when I turned the AC on, and when I asked Ben what the smell was, he refused to reply. Upon ending my test drive, I popped the hood, and was met with a cloud of smoke from the engine. Ben told me that the valve covers had been recently replaced, and that the oil was only leakage that "would just burn off after a while". When I asked him if he had any records of the work done on the valve covers, he said no, that he only had the receipt for the part, and that the work was done by an "in-house" mechanic. All in all, I left the warehouse extremely dissatisfied with the customer service, and with no confidence in the cars being sold. I will not be buying a car here, and I would urge you all to be very careful if you choose to visit European Cars.

Im 300 miles into the car and ready to update my review (read pre purchase review below). Inspection went great, nothing came up that I did not see myself, was disclosed by the owner, or to be expected in a used car. Not only did the owner take care of all of the little things he promised to do before purchase, he took care of a couple repairs that would have cost me a bit that turned up in the pre inspection (nothing you wouldnt expect from an older car, but I was hoping to not need to do any repairs right off the bat). He also pointed me in the direction of a great extended warranty program. I shopped around quite a bit and no other dealer had the quality of cars or customer service comparable to European Cars! Pre-Purchase Review Havent bought my car yet (still need to do a pre-inspection as recommended by the owner) but so far my experience has been so great I thought I would do a pre-purchase review. The owner is very polite, professional and so far has been very honest. I took my time scouring the vehicle for problems and then we sat down and discussed what I found. A few things he said he could fix no problem, and the rest of my concerns he recommended a pre-inspection and I appreciate that honesty. Sure its a risk to pay the guys down the street to check over the car (what if they find something and I dont end up buying it?) but its a much smaller risk than buying a car that didnt get a thorough look through by a professional outside opinion. Fingers crossed my hopeful "new" car passes the inspection. Ill give you all an update next week.

I bought a car from him, and when I needed help in working on a couple of things to get the purchase finalized, he was ready and very helpful to assist me. It was pleasure knowing Ben and his brother Emanuel, and thanks for your awesome help. Customer service in my opinion comes first before anything else.

Extremely Rude, Unprofessional behavior, bragging too much I came from Europe and I love European cars blah blah blah. poor communication and broken English. I will suggest dont visit this guy completely UNPROFESSIONAL, fake, rude, fraud. Trust me all reviews is from his family and friends just to catch customers.
