Thanks to Todd, we purchased a family vehicle that we really LOVE!! 2016 Tahoe. Navigation and sunroof (we were looking for) plus a bonus DVD entertainment. Monthly payments are in our price range and it was financed through credit union. Really low APR rate. I bank with GOLDEN1 and the rates are basically the same. We have been looking for a family vehicle for a couple of months and didnt want to settle until we found the ONE. I researched a lot on CarGurus app and I came across this 2016 Tahoe located at Roberts Auto Sales. It had everything we were looking for and really low mileage 17k. I continued to research and compare prices to other dealers and even considered private owner. Ultimately, at Roberts Auto Sales it was approximately $3k cheaper. So, we drove out the next morning to check it out. Really big lot with lots of options at reasonable price. From gas saving to luxury vehicles. Youre freely to browse and inspect vehicle inside and out before test driving. Test drive-You go on your own or with family on a route, which I liked because it was more comfortable and it feels like its your car. Paperwork took no more than 30 mins. Todd took his time explaining every detail before signing to make sure we understood the contract. He was very thorough, nice and professional. Two thumbs up to him!! Smoothest transaction we ever had. The following day I realized the gas tank was not filled and left with less than a quarter tank. Spoke to Casey the following day and he was really helpful. We will be back in town this Friday on the 7th of April for a full tank of gas. Thank you, Roberts Auto Sales!! We will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle in the future, and definitely recommend to family and friends.

Originally gave 5 stars now down to 3. 2017 Update: Bought my first car in 2014 here. It was a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze Lt and it ran great. As of June 2017 it was declared a loss due to an idiot who wrecked the back. In the end it protected me and i enjoyed it while it lasted. After the loss i came back to Roberts and bought a 2014 Chevy Equinox. So far it runs great, Mileage, price and payment plan was great. Knocked down 2 stars for terrible customer service. I made an appointment with Roberts to touch up paint chips on the Equinox, the day of I dropped it off at 9am and was told I would get a call and that it shouldnt take past lunch time. (They start at 9am and leave at 5pm so guessed 12 30 -2pm). By 2 30 i received no call, so i called, called and called till 4 30! I was stressed considering i had to take care of an aunt at 5:30. The receptionist had a voicemail (name Melanie i think) which is ridiculous considering a receptionists job is to take calls. On the last call at 4:50 i called from a different number and she quickly answered. I was livid, i asked if my car was ready, she transfered me and the man who answered said my car had been ready since way earlier and someone was supposed to call me to pick it up. Considering I and many family members have given this place business for years this definitely makes them look unprofessional. Left 3 stars only because the vehicles and prices are great.

After visiting several auto dealers in Modesto, Turlock and Merced, Roberts Auto Sales was like a breath of fresh air. At the other lots predatory salesmen swoop the moment you enter, pretending to have your interests in mind until its clear that youre not interested in their "special"-- thats when the manipulations and high pressure sales tactics really begin! At Roberts however, I was able to peruse the whole lot without being bothered, and when I was ready to test drive they even let me take the cars out by myself. I really liked that because its easier to get a feel for the ride when someones not delivering a pitch the entire time. Roberts has a large and varied selection. They sell only used vehicles, but they are so well maintained and detailed that they have the feel of new cars. When I found the car I wanted, Todd in the finance office explained my options and made the whole process a pleasure. I recommend that you stop by Roberts when youre looking for your next car.

got a very nice car in great condition and that was the good part of the experience. fernando my finance specialist wasnt the friendliest of guys ive dealt with and then they did not fully pay off my trade-in loan and im getting letters of past due payments, included are fees. its coming up on the 30 day mark at which time it will hit my PERFECT payment credit report. make sure you get in writing that they will pay off your trade in FULLY within 10 days! he aslo told me taht the car i wanted didnt come in the 2.0l ecoboot motor option and that it only came in a 1.6l ecoboost and a 2.5l non ecoboost. im a mechanic and i know my cars and i know my fords. when he processed the paper work on the car he claimed had a 1.6l ecoboost he was shocked when it came up as having a 2.0l ecoboost. they sell cars, they dont know about them.

I had a great experience finding the car that I wanted at the price I could afford. It was awesome walking around with no one following me to get me to buy a car. For the most part the office staff was nice and the loan officer was terrific and answered all of my questions concerning the car. What I found odd was that they left the plastic on the floor board of the car that reads "car salesman must remove plastic at time of sale". When I called today to ask where the floor mats for the front and back seating areas were I was told that the vehicles arent sold with floor mats because some of them are dirty? The vehicle I bought is a 2016 and had 7500 miles on it. Dirty? All in all .... I would definitely refer Roberts Auto Sales to a friend.

Absolutely the best car dealer you could visit! My family and i bought 3 cars from this dealer and a 4th is in the works. The only time we had a car issue (Torque converter on a 98 Mustang) we were greeted by the sales associate with "Lets get it in the shop, get you a loaner, and we will call you when its ready." No charge, no hassle, no questions. You must remember that the prices are LOCKED in, so dont expect a haggle. Thats ok since their prices really are the best around. You cant go wrong with Roberts.All makes and models with all budgets (from economy to luxury cars) in mind. Thanks Roberts for making a trip to the car dealer feel fun and exciting!

The best car buying experience I have ever had. Megan and Casey were a joy to work with. I drove 95 miles to look at a vehicle I saw on their website. When I arrived the vehicle was exactly as advertised, and it was at a fair price (so nice to come to a dealership and not have to waste time haggling hoping that you get a fair price). Their financing was quick and they gave me a better interest rate than I was able to find on my own. I would recommend all my friends and family go to Roberts Auto Sales.
