DO NOT SHOP HERE! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was yelled at over the phone for "feeling offended" over being overcharged on a small item. It shouldnt have been a big deal but the associate berated me nontheless. I didnt even want a refund, I merely wanted an explanation and that would have been all. But he seemed to already have an attitude and the moment I said that I was feeling sorta offended he immediately yelled "ITS TWO Fu#%ing DOLLARS!!!" and proceeded to verbally abuse me over the phone. I was calm and collected even though i should have gone off but I didnt. I even apologized for asking, which I shouldnt have. This is unacceptable service, explain yourself in a way that doesnt threaten me and make me feel like your some business that cant be shut down. I will take this further than a bad review! Dont disrespect people you dont know. By the way, I do work for a small business and we dont scream at our customers. Not even if they are an idiot, because you lose the customer. Sir, it seems you dont undertsand how a business works. I understand mark-ups, I just do not understand why you explained them in such a hostile manner. I dont care about shopping at your store anymore but I do care about the unjust treatment of Human Beings going unnoticed. This is not how you run a business. The business owner will be notified. I will be in contact via legal representation to ensure you remain professional so this can be sorted out peacefully. I expect and demand an apology for damages caused. This should have never occurred and I wish I had just gone somewhere else for my gear cause this is consuming me. Again, I dont want my money back but an apology would sure reconcile the situation.

Been a customer here for years, best place for indie/alternative/rock/soul/etc music, vintage records, and pretty much skate anything. Its like a comeback for tower records. The owner and the guy that is usually there are the friendliest people ever and dont discriminate from customers who arent buying things, they even offer you to hangout around the store if youd like. Really clean and fun environment super appealing to all ages. The only thing that would probably make this store better is if they sold like old game systems and whatnot. But other than that, totally Recommended for all things rad.. screw Getta Clue. :)

Pretty good skate shop. I think its the best one in the downtown/midtown/east Sac/Oak Park vicinity. Their deck selection is pretty good and they cater to a more diverse crowd. Theyre stepping it up with clothes and shoes too. Overall, it looks like they care about skateboarder owned brands. Not every shop in the area does, but its important.
