My husband and I ordered a sectional that was advertised in their newspaper in February its now April.(and still NO furniture) On three different occasions we went to the store to pick up our furniture and we were always given a different story as to why our furniture was not available. On our second visit after driving 1 hr to the store our sales person attitude was "well we can give you your money back, but we dont have it, your furniture will be here in a few weeks." a completely different attitude when we paid him cash much more friendly. Well we had no choice, so I thought but to accept this non-sense, because we had already sold our old furniture and now our living room sits bare. Its funny because our first visit to the store all the sharks, "opps" I mean sales man were so friendly and promising but in the end they were the most RUDEST, UNPROFESSIONAL sales men I have ever had to deal with. PLEASE take my advice and RUNNNNNNNNNN, I wish that I had read these reviews before wasting 3 months of my life with these people. I would have saved myself lots of gas,and many heartaches. Chose another company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please. P.s we have our furniture same item from a different company within 3 days. Now thats how you do business.

If I could give a 0 I would. We bought a sectional 4 years ago and the back cushions have broken down. The springs are popping through the bottom under the cushions. I called they sent someone out. The technician said that it needs to be replaced. The technician said they would be calling in a few days. 3 weeks later I had to call them back. I spoke with the manager of the day and she told me that they only cover a 1 year warranty and that if I purchased a extended warranty it only covers rips stains and broken frames. The manufacturer doesnt carry my sectional anymore so they wouldnt be able to help me. I said that they would have to replace it with a comparable sectional and told me that I would have to go through them and told me that my issues are normal wear and tear. Since when is springs coming out of our couch normal wear and tear? We dont have gymnast or children bouncing around on our furniture. What ever you do dont buy the extended warranty unless you thrash your furniture or break it in half. Im calling the warranty people and if they dont do anything Im calling consumer affaris.

Terrible. Some of the furniture sucks but the customer service is worse. We purchased 2 sofas from them in October and one couch was delivered torn. Customer service was less than helpful and said we could bring the sofa back if we want (bear in mind it was myself and my mother and it was an extremely heavy sofa). They should have offered to pick it up for us and take care of us. Now, 5 months later the suede on the sofa is literally peeling off around the stitching. Its as if the stitching on the sofa has poked too large of holes and is tearing the sofa around. It is so cheaply made, its not even funny. We called the store and the manager, Maria told us its NOT HER PROBLEM. She also said the 1 year warranty covers the stitching but not if the stitching is tearing the sofa. Then she hung up on us when I told her I would be writing a review about what is happening. I have never had such terrible customer service in my life. I highly recommend against making a purchase from this store.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I bought a bedroom set from Maria and due to tons of miscommunications it took 3 weeks & a lot of hassle for me to finally get my furniture delivered. First she promised it would be delivered the next day, which was Tuesday, but then she told me Wednesday. Well, wednesday came & no furniture arrived, so I called the store and they said it was actually the NEXT wednesday. Thanks a lot! I waited all day for nothing. so next wed comes AND IT STILL HASNT ARRIVED. I personally go back to the store to talk to Maria and she said apparently Wed is when it would arrive to THEIR STORE, since it had to be ordered. NO ONE SPECIFIED that to me, nor was she apologetic about the confusion. Overall I had a negative shopping experience at American Furniture galleries because of their poor customer service and would not recommend shopping there.

Purchased a couch labor day weekend. Delivered on time, but there was a hole in one piece and a burn mark on another. Took almost a month to get the replacement pieces, which a replacement piece was still not right. I was asked to email phots and they would get back to me asap about replacing the pieces i emailed them after i hung up the phone. It is now january and i had to call them myself, they sent someone out to look at it last sunday. I was told i would receive a phone call the next day to set up a delivery date for the new piece. It is now a week later and i just had to call them myself. No body had an answer and they said they would call me back. I guess i will have to call them again next week myself, i have really lost my patience with this company. I will never buy anything from them again.

I have never taken time to write or complain about a business, but this is a buyer beware to potential customers. This was absolutely the worst service! I purchased a sectional and the extended warranty from them. When the material started fading less than a year later, I reached out to them. They had some one come out and take pictures but never followed up with me. I corresponded with Maria several times and Shawn a couple of times, and they never returned my calls as they promised. Now their position is they dont have any record of someone coming out to inspect the sectional and they wont stand behind their product or extended warranty. If you choose to business with them, do so at your own risk. Marcus was great...

Ive been searching for the right leather set. I went to this store and found a set that I really loved. however the sales guy (erik) was very ghetto and keep on singing when he was helping me and my family. I decided to come back another day and was helped by (Ming). He was very nice and explained my option and it was a very busy day that when we went to office to pay he introduced us to Maria and she finalized the transaction for me. I asked her all the questions and know what my options were before I bought. Thanks to MING the salesman and Maria the lady who made it possible for me to get approved on financing. Im very excited about this purchase. anyhow, I cant wait to receive our new furniture set....whoo hoo!!!!

They were sure quick to take our money and tell us all we wanted to hear, needless to say, when we asked if our furniture would be able to be delivered earlier than what we had signed up for (since we didnt know when exactly our move in date was ) they were fast to say " Oh yes of course just give us a call " . Unfortunately , that is definitely NOT the case . Matter of fact, our FURNITURE is not even ordered yet, as per person I talked to over the phone few days ago. Too bad theyre closed today, because Friday morning first thing my husband and I are doing i,s canceling the whole order and will go to another place more professional. DO NOT BUY THERE, they dont stick to their word!
