My father ordered a double recliner and a single recliner at Sears in the Roseville, CA Galleria on Saturday 11/12/16. My father was told by Sears furniture department staff that his recliners would be at his house on Monday so my dad arranged for all of his living room furniture to be removed from his house on the Sunday before. On Monday 11/13/16, my dad received a phone call from Sears stating that his furniture will be delayed and it will be delivered on Tuesday which my dad was ok with. On Tuesday, 11/14/16, my dad received a phone call from Sears stating that the furniture would be delivered on Saturday 11/19/16. I called Sears furniture customer service and I explained to the representative that my father has cancer, he is in extreme pain that radiates to his back, he has no furniture because Sears told him he would receive his furniture on Monday, 11/13/16 and he got rid of all his furniture. I explained that the reason my father purchased the recliners is because the reclining position is the only position that my father feels comfortable in. The sears representative said, “I’m sorry about the situation but unfortunately the furniture will not be delivered until Saturday”. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor said the same thing. Did not care about the problem at all. The supervisor said that he could not do anything but he could guarantee me that the furniture would be at his house Saturday 11/9/16. Well guess what… Saturday, 11/19/16 came around and my dad received another phone call from Sears saying that he would not receive his furniture until Monday 11/21/16. Needless to say, my father cancelled the order and purchased furniture at a place that is more caring, more reliable, and $1000 less. Your loss Sears! If I could give a 0 star review, I would!

Worked here for two years. Was told to lie to customers about almost everything to score sales and credit card applications. Paid completely unfairly. $6/hr + commission. HOWEVER the sales person has to make the difference up in commission to get to minimum wage, or else they take away commission and give you minimum wage. That way they are "by law" giving you minimum wage. Otherwise screwing you out of a couple dollars/hr while you try and push sales to make extra off commission. Also they are completely terrible on customer focus. For the simplest things like a tool exchange. They dont want to give new tools out anymore. Just refurbished. Dont recommend them to anyone.

Terrible! Online and then called a store at Roseville Galleria and first wrong department and then no answer. Leave a message. I am a long time customer of Sears, all appliances, tools, and some clothing. But the last few years the service there is so bad and with such disrespect for the customers, friendliness she is awful. No offers to help find things And pretty much just barely look at you and shrug there shoulders. Language barriers are also a big problem. THAT JUST MIGHT BE WHY YOU ARE ABOUT TO GO OUT OF BUISNESS . I would suggest you get better management before it is to late if it isnt already. I have used Sears for over forty years. Sad

Shop at this Sears often. Normally good staff. One gentleman in particular stood out today after locking me in as I was finishing up inside. My wife and newborn where on the other side of the door. Made us walk all the way around to the available door that could open to leave. I told him and showed him my family was on the other side of the door as he was locking it. Shrugged said sorry and proceeded to tell us where to walk. Complete lack of customer service. Extremely disappointed. i think Ill start looking to Amazon to purchase the items I need from this store.....

Horrid slow service. Optical Department is never open. I asked a worker where the eye worker was and was told "sorry buddy, not here" most unfriendly place I have been too. I wanted to hand over money but wont do it to a company that has no respect. I HIGHLY advise against this place for anything. I am a manager of a large Store and would be extremely enraged at my employees if I heard this story.

GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. Can this company die already? I am tired of looking at their 90s decor, empty shelves and outdated everything. Sears is a pathetic company, they have not kept up with the times and now reality is about to punch them in the face. If i was an employee there i would be scrambling to find another job
