My wife and I went to trade in some of our electronics, we brought in a few Wii motion plus remotes and we were quoted 12.80$ cash back each remote trade in. We asked how many we could sell and Andy said typically its 3 controllers for any game system unless you bring in a console then its 4. He then informed us Wii was different and they could accept 4. We sold the four we had at 12.80$ cash each. Knowing we had a few more we asked another employee if the price for trade ins would change because we knew we had a few more remotes she said "no the prices would stay the same but you are only allowed to trade in once a day". After hearing that we realized we would have to come back the next day which we did, leaving completely satisfied. The next day we bring in 3 more remotes and were told they could only accept one controller (remote) at a time, we question them knowing the previous day we were told typically its 3 except for Wii its 4. We explain that we were just in yesterday and were told something completely different. A Asian (manager) male employee angrily tells us that "they are a business and they could do whatever they want". Questioning the idea that policies would change literally over night was surprising, unlikely and very unprofessional. He then says "He could refuse to accept any trades from us because hes a manager". Shocked by his unprofessional manner regarding the discussion we decide to dismiss it and trade in 1 single remote. He then informs us that we would be receiving 4$ cash back less then a third of the previous days offer that we accepted. We say a young lady with black hair and Andy gave us 12.80$ EACH yesterday and he rants and raves about the whole they are a business and could do whatever they want speech. Upset by the situation my wife and I leave the store disgusted by this supposedly managers attitude towards us and the idea that not only were we told we could return up to 4 remotes and the price wouldnt change. That we now could only trade in 1 for 4$. My wife refuses to trade considering yesterday we were offered 12.80$ each cash, he then goes on questioning how we came about these remotes implying that they were stolen with responses like "huh..yeah..ok". Not feeling the need to explain to this rude Asian male manager that we have a huge family and were once all totally into Wii explaining why we had so many remotes ect. Our minds regarding Dimples Records completely changed after that whole ordeal and have no intention of going back to that store anytime soon. A warning to all potential Dimples customers this store is very unprofessional and have no sense of customer service or sense of upholding policies. Andy was very helpful on the first day. Asian male manager: has a complete lack of customer service, respect and is totally unprofessional. (race is not a factor in this just using it as a description) p.s We also understand that even though we were told the price for $ given back on an item wouldnt change that it could happen if they were over stocked but going from 12.80$ to 4.00$ over night is ridiculous and unreasonable.

Used vinyl there is great! Especially for a digger looking for samples, they have a nice selection of records and a bottom row with tons of electronic 12" singles. Most used vinyl are around $2, which is about how much it is at Goodwill, which is awesome and so far none of them skip. New vinyl is relatively expensive (usually around $20 at the least, and the occasional $15 which is still kinda meh, sometimes it hits around $30) but maybe its because Im a broke teenager lol. Excellent CDs (both used and new). The new CDs are pretty cheap (~$10), but the used CDs are where its at, usually around $2-$5. The people there are nice, they definitely know their stuff. New releases are really easy to find on CD, vinyl on the other hand is a bit harder. For the casual music listener, its a good place. But for hardcore music nerds, theres other places (such as Amoeba and Phono Select). Still a nice place for some used vinyl and used CDs for really cheap. The store seems a bit small compared to the one in Citrus Heights but thats a nitpick really. I once found Outlawss self titled and Ramsey Lewis Trios Upendo Ni Pamoja in the same day for around $6. Keep up the good work.

They get two stars just because Dimples is a cool place to buy used stuff. But dont ever buy anything you might want return or gifts for other people; not only does the return policy only give you store credit even with a reciept, they give you only 75 percent store credit! That means that since the item is already used and they can sell it to someone else for the same price you bought it for and they make 125% profit on any returned item! That is a dirty scam not return policy.

I went in today and bought a n64 controller that was defective then when I tried to exchange it with the receipt in hand showing that it had only been a couple hours since I bought it they would not do an even exchange and would only offer back 75% in store credit. What kind of business rips you of like this. It is not the customers fault that your selection sucks so bad that you have to rip people off to turn a profit. This place should be closed down!

Treated and serviced like we were royalty each and every visit, from the old store to the new bigger store. Each and every trade-in weve had with Dimple (old games, unit/systems, PC games, media, accessories) has always been a successful and very satisfied transaction. We have NOT experienced one single negative anything as long as weve been a Dimple customer. Nothing short of awesomeness :) WE LOVE DIMPLE RECORDS BABY!!!

Came in to have a scratched Gamecube game repaired, and I decided to buy a few used games while I was there. Two of them were defective, so I took them back. One was replaced and the other was repaired completely free of charge. Took them back and they both worked perfectly! Dimple Records is a great place to shop. Definitely would recommend it to a friend.

Being a huge music fan it is imparative to have a place (other than the web) where I can find all those underground bands that I like. Well, this is the place. The people are usually friendly and Ive ordered several CDs from them without issue.

Out of all the dimple stores I would have to say that this one is the best! The second I walked in someone helped me right away to find what I needed. Yes, their return policy is total Bullsh** but that is not going to change.

I love that I know I can find what I want or they can find it for me, and it will always be a great deal. I love the smell of record stores. Shop here before amazon and itunes kill off all of the best places.
