One of the worst customer service experiences ever! Started at the fabric counter when I asked about special orders. I decided to place an order and was told to take a number. My number was 1. There were three clerks behind the counter and no other customers. I waited approx. 5 minutes while 2 discussed persnl info and the 3rd cut fabric ends. When one decided to help me I was told I had to place my order thru customer service desk. It took over 30 minutes for that employee, Antoinett, to figure out how to do this in between phone calls lasting several minutes. It wasnt until she asked for the $100 pmt that I was informed there was also a $10 ship fee and the wait would be 4 to 6 weeks!! I had other items to purchase and had to make 3 separate pmts. As I was leaving I saw another employee and asked to speak to the manager. She called for mgr service then disappeared. The mgr never appeared and no staff made any attempt to help. I work retail and service like this, or lack of it, is absolutely unacceptable. I will absolutely take my business elsewhere.

The staff is unfriendly and rude. I called to find out if they had an item in stock, the person who answered, Maria, asked me to wait while she finished with a customer. She didnt put me on hold, I heard the entire conversation that she had with the customer. Afterwards she picked up the phone and asked me again what I was looking for, then basically said no when I asked her to check, I had to almost beg her to help me. THEN she put me on hold. When she finally came back I asked her if it was a certain price, the same as online, she said yes. When I came in to pick it up it was more money, when I inquired as to why she denied ever saying this, I have witnesses. I dont know if it is just the staff tonight or what, but wow.

The Redlands Jo-Anns is the worse location. I went in this Monday, Labor Day, to buy some crochet hook sizes. The wall was completely empty except for 4 of the same hook size. I dont know why I keep giving this place a chance. They are always out of crochet hooks. Doesnt surprise me. If you have very little staff to even serve customers you certainly wouldnt have staff to do inventory. On a holiday...there were two cashiers and over 30 people in line. No kiddin. I was going to compromise and buy a hook size that was a little small, but after seeing that line I bailed and went to Walmart. Every customer service experience Ive had with this store has been rotten.

Has what you need. Great sales, but if you are looking for popular items, chances are they will be sold out. I love that they offer lots of coupons. Its a one stop shop, and that is great. Store is big, and to get help is hard, okay, its almost impossible. You will have to wait a long time for someone to come and unlock your item (i guess they need to lock up markers and gel pens), but it is great for your everyday need for crafting, scrapbooking, and sewing...

Unfortunately I had to stop coming to this Jo-Ann fabrics...the what seems like one line is always so long its relentless. Every time I come its the same long wrapped around line. Morning and evening, weekend or weekday. I just pass it up an go to Michaels Which has more selection an fast check out. Very understaffed as well. The people that do work there are nice and helpful. I feel bad for some of them.

Love the coupons, hate the lines. I ask my boyfriend to get in line right when we walk in the store, I grab my google eyes and hot glue sticks and then join him in the wait. They have 7 checkstands and 1 maybe 2 cashiers who are in no hurry to help you get out the door. When I consider going, I always allow 20-30 mins to wait in line. They are almost as bad as the airport.

I love this store. It was At location in Redlands which was too small and seemed unorganized. Now, it is nice, big clean, lots of personnel to help, huge supply of whatever you need, great sales, oh yes, and be sure to sign up for the e-mail or mail flyers for great saving coupons, 50% to 60% off, awesome. AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME is all I can say.

The store is always clean and organized. Im not sure what staff the other reviewers came into contact with, but they seem very nice to me. Treat someone how you want to be treated goes a long way. Ive been going to this location for a few years and I havent felt there was anything to complain about.

They have a decent selection and the staff is mostly helpful and nice, with one exception I had an encounter with a very unpleasant woman. My issue with the store is the long wait to get your fabric cut and then a second long line to wait to pay. More than once Ive walked out because of the lines.

Staff is rude and not helpful. They dont want anything to do with customers- and dont try to hide it. The store is always out of things (doesnt seem like its stocked properly). Best experience was when one staff member told me Id have better luck at Michaels Craft Store. HA.

A little messy. Lots of items in a somewhat confusing layout. Fabric right up front but off center. Had difficulty finding what I needed. Prices were a little high for some of the quality of the items and the challenge in finding what youre looking for.

They have a great selections on fabrics. And their coupon policy is great. The only downfall is that the line is always huge and it always seems like they are understaffed. Whether it be at the fabric counter, on the floor, and especially at check out.

I go there often. I know a lot of the staff by sight, they are always nice and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I love the coupon savings. I guess Ill be going there even more often now that Hancock is going out of business.

I now go to Hancocks about 3 minutes away....the staff at Jo Anns is rude if you can find anyone, wait 30 minutes to cut fabric and then wait 30 minutes in line to pay. No thanks

Typical Jo-Anns store, their staff is pleasant, but like the majority of Jo-Anns they are very slow to help you if you can even find someone to ask.
