Id give the store itself a 4/5 easy, they usually have what I need. Their service center is a joke, a very bad one at that. Waited 25 minutes at the counter while they kept "checking something" I had them check out my tires on my car, and they found "flat spots" (the tires were their brand, and were already on the car, I wouldnt buy them willingly) on there and the guy explained away the problem and put it on me. The guy said "yeah youre gonna need new struts, theyre bad and wearing your tire in one spot." which is a complete and utter lie. He knew what it was as well as I did at this point, the tire was bulging out as a defect. Thats why he said "yeah uh so you should get them replaced" and then proceeded to run off as fast as he could, saying "goodbye" and leaving me out in the parking lot, as if I were going to leave, even though I told him prior that I was just checking this out while I was there and was picking up some other things. This is bad salesmanship as well, a proper salesman would have interested me in new tires at least. Anyway, go here for the parts and fluids, dont go here for service. I mean, if youre going to go to a tire place, avoid chains, look for independent shops, and if youre going to get repairs done, just stay away from chains, period.

This is the Pep Boys that no one works at. My hubby and I came in to get a part that they would need to get from the back for us, not something thats on the shelves, and we waited about 20 minutes before we found an employee. The store was empty... There was no one at the counters in the front or back. The shelves are low so you can see the whole store and no sign of an employee. We along with other customers called out for some service. After many customers came and went a man and woman finally emerged from some upstairs office. A bit of a queue had formed but they were nice enough. They just kept us waiting a long time for no clear reason. I dont know what they get up to in that office but I doubt they are working. Not the first time this has happened. Last time we couldnt find a cashier to check us out...

My Check Engine Light came on and I went here to have the code scanned so I could trouble shoot the problem. Pep Boys advertises this service heavily– but they are highly reluctant to actually help you. This Pep Boys location claimed that a "customer took their code scanner". Yeah right. The other Pep Boys down the street simply said "not today, come back tomorrow". It literally takes two minutes to plug it in and give me a code. I live an hour away from anything and its frustrating to drive all the way down (with a problematic car!) only to be turned away. Stay away from ANY Pep Boys unless you are looking for air fresheners, useless cheap junk, or M&Ms. At least Auto Zone was completely honest and said they stopped reading codes.

My check engine light went on and I called them and they said they can check it in a few minutes. I took my car in and then they told me it can take a few hours because of how many people are there to do something that will take a few minutes. If I bought windshield wipers they would have a tech take care of them right away and have him put the on but couldnt plug in a diagnostic tool and read my the numbers. I was planning on buying all the parts to fix my car there myself but they just lost a customer. Later I called to talk to a manager and he was very rude telling me to do it myself and acting stupid like he didnt know what the problem was.

The manager there was very pleasant to deal with. Came in for a warranty on a battery. But they didnt have the right battery at the price I wanted to spend . ended up spending $96 on a new one that was with the prorate price the old battery was 4 years old warranty of 96 months but it is what it is I got a new battery but it doesnt have a warranty. Should have went out and bought another one somewhere else. Mind you this is for a 91 Ford Ranger.

Really good and personalized service is What we get way one new come to the Rancho Pep Boys! We had to buy a new tire for our truck. They were very busy but Jerome took the time to explain my options and he was very thorough and professional. I left our truck tire overnight since they were really busy, we didnt need it immediately. The next day, they called to let us know it was ready for pick up. Thank you Pep Boys RC

I had made an appointment for new tires at 5 o clock online. When I had got there the next day, they did not have the tires in stock. The employees were mostly helpful, but I ended up having to wait till 7:40 for the tires to be received and put on, meaning I ended up waiting 2 hours and 40 minutes for a 30 minute job. Also one of the Weights for balancing fell off because the mechanic did not put them on very well.

Great service from Hector, Alex an there manager on duty. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff way better than other Pep Boys in area. I walked in after previously talking to them over phone. Everything was ready to go in an out in a matter of minutes with warranty battery couldnt be happier. They were able to answer all my questions an took the time to seek answers from the manager.

This particular operation is always busy and carry on in a very businesslike manner. Not always ready to smile but always ready to help as soon as they can. Ive always chosen this store and Ive bought many goods and services over the years. I praise the employees for serious determination and good work! PS. Auto Zone helped me with battery issue on the spot instead of being told that theres a 2 hour wait to be scene and being told "if I wanted to, I could drop off my car two days from then and hopefully they will get around to it".

Just called them for a brake job. They said to bring it right down. We are MAYBE 10 minutes away. We arrived and they turned us away staying they just took in 4 cars. That is B.S.

Clean facility. Orderly garage. The only reason I didnt have my tires checked here was due to an hr wait. Apparently there was only one lstation that could lift a dually f350.
