Do not use these guys - they will say anything to get you to purchase the spa, but when they deliver the product at it does not meet the specications stated and written, they refuse to take responsibility. I purchased a 110 v spa Memorial Day weekend from Brian at there store. Lets start with being assured that the spa would be delivered in 3 to 5 weeks and we didnt receive until 6 plus weeks out. They delivered the spa today and immediately I noticed a problem. When we purchased the spa from Brian we specifically asked how much power line we would have to get the spa power line to the outlet. He assured us that we will have 15 feet. Lie #1! My wife and I brought this matter up twice as it was a critical issue - again we were assured we would have 15 feet of slack on the power line. Upon receipt of the spa, we didnt even have 10 ft of slack. When I called Coastal Spa, I basically got the run around, no help and the only option they offered was for me to move the spa closer to the outlet. Although 5 ft of slack does not seem significant, in our case it meant moving the spa from the backyard into the driveway. Nevertheless, we moved the spa closer to the outlet in order to make things work. Once moved, we tried to plug in the spa and noticed that it had a special plug for a 20 amp outlet. At no point did Brian or any of the paperwork provided state that we needed to arrange for a special outlet. Even their paperwork makes no mention of it - only the 220v spas have a disclaimer stating that they are not responsible for electrical matters. We did not purchase a 220v spa in order to avoid any electrical issues. When we walked in and met Brian, that was the first thing we said. We rent our home so we did not want to invest in any elcectrical work in a temporary home. This was Brians main selling point on this spa. You receive it and its ready to plug in. You want to move it, just unplug and take with you. That of course is not the case! A special dedicated 20 amp outlet is required for the spa, which at NO Time was uttered by Brian or any other personnel we interacted with. Lie #2! The only positive issue I can share is that the delivery company they use is spectacular. They spent several hours here trying to get the spa up and running including running out to Home Depot to purchase a separate dedicated power outlet. I made it clear to Coastal Spa that I would not sign for the spa until this matter was corrected or they provided me with a plan to get the matter corrected. They threatened to take the spa back, which I told them to do, but of course they had no interest in doing so. The gal on the phone tried to persuade me to accept the spa as is and that because I have a full warranty they would fix the matter. As I am an attorney and know better, they of course did not coerce me into making such a massive error. By signing off on the spa, I am accepting the spa in an As Is condition. When I finally get the spa up and running and it leaks or does not work, they legally can argue that I accepted the spa in that state and that the warranty is no longer valid. I currently have a spa sitting in my driveway that does not work. Thank goodness that I only gave them a deposit which I will be disputing with my credit card provider shortly. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a more reputable and honest spa outlet to work with - there is no lack of companys in Southern California. Not sure yet how this will work out, but I am sure that if you do not have the legal background that I have, you would have more then likely accepted the spa and gotten royally strewed for it. One last thing that I think is critical, during this whole process the delivery staff stated to me that this happens all the time with Coastal Spa. Over 75% of their deliveries have issues with promises made by their sales people and not delivered upon. Clearly this a pattern of how they do business and one that I highly recommend to avoid at all cost. They only reason I am giving them 2 Stars is that the spa actually looks great.

I purchased a spa during a show in May, I worked with a salesperson from the factory. From the very first phone call back to Coastal Spa & Patio I have been frustrated. Being disconnected 2-3x, electrical questions not answered and being told "we dont know what we are doing", messages left with no return call, staff in not empowered nor motivated to help in any way. Basically I got "oh sorry" with no real effort to help resolve the issue of leaving a message or getting a call back. Its been since 5/28 and I have ZERO idea where my spa is or an inkling of when Im going to get it.
