Extremely ignorant and rude staff, who lie to customers ans do not apologize for their mistakes. Instead they will actually roll their eyes at you and say whatever?!!! Who trains ans employees to do this or say this is ok? I went through self check out. I swiped my credit card through ans it charged my card 25$ and claimed I still owed 2$ I checked my card balance on my phone and made sure another 2$ was available. I was so I swiped the card again to pay the difference (I had no cash on me) the register stated something along the lines that u can do multiply charges and supervisor would need to authorize it. Of course no supervisor ever showed up even though Id been waiting 5 min or more other customers were approaching the attendant ans he was so answering their new questions instead of getting the supervisor. After about 10 min of this I said u know what just void ans item and Ill buy it separately. Of course this took longer than it should have staff wasnt coming to fix it. Finally a girl passed and authorized the item to be voided. My register than said approx 24$ was due instead of acknowledging it was already charged! I Adidas no my cards already Eben charged I dont want to pay again ans wait on a correction. My cards charged the funds are GONE. It should show as paid. The girl sais no no it never charges unless you pay the full amount I sais NO it charges me. See ( my phone the money has been charged please get a supervisor) she swore my card was NEVER charged. I said yes it was I was charged 24$ before I requested u void this item. She was obviously annoyed (after all of one min of helping me keep the in mind I wait 15 min at this point) she finally pressed something on the screen ans it said paid. I said SEE I did pay I was charged. She said whatever ans rolled her eyes. I said NO dont whatever me u just said it didnt charge me and you would have let me leave the store as if I had not paid when I DID! No apology, oh Im sorry. Just another whatever eye roll and sorry attitude. I said thats no way to take to customers and she needs to apologize just admit she was wrong. No. She straight up would have let walmart charge me and flat at lie that I hadnt paid anything. I than ring up the voides item swiped my car to pay no problem and walked away as I had no time to report her. A simple check out became a massive ordeal made worse by inattentive staff, no supervisor ever came and an ignorant staff wouldnt admit she didnt know what she was talking about. (That I still needed to pay (again)) Very rude Hispanic girl with deep red lipstick hiding her name badge and no clue how to talk to customer. Just apologize when you are dead wrong if I acted like that her on any job id be fired!

The store manager "Frankie" is a very commendable individual. He is a compliment to this store and the Walmart company. Im an avid Walmart shopper and have never felt disrespected or unsatisfied with my past experiences. That is until the morning of March 23, 2017. I was attempting to do a price match on Aquarium Gravel; in which the vending company had just switched the labeling on the product to a new image. One employee denied me the price match so I requested her supervisor and was greeted by Anthony. Anthony was below sub-par, and went as far as insult my intelligence when I had told him I have worked in the grocery industry before and that the upc numbers match, that the company name matches, and the weight of the item is equivalent. I proceeded to tell him the only thing that has changed was the photo on the bag, and that I had checked with the company prior to make sure the item was the same and not discontinued. When I told him this, he laughed in my face, as if I was making this up, as if to insult my intelligence; which infuriated me. I requested the store manager and thats when Frankie came to assist me. Frankie was very calm, polite, and most of all which I found quite impressive; is he simply allowed me to explain the situation. He then asked to look at the item details on my phone, checked the items details on the bag and approved the price match. Then visibly noticing I was upset, as I asked Anthony to please leave the area as I felt offended by his demeanor. Frankie asked him to walk away and that he would take care of me. After the incident Frankie went up and spoke to Anthony which left me feeling better that he understood my frustrations and that he perhaps was giving him tips on how to better handle the situation in the future. Frankie is the man! He didnt make my experience anymore of a disdain. Matter fact he flipped it upside down. I was going to write to corporate about this unpleasant visit; but if I were to contact them now, it would be to simply praise Frankie. Frankie keep up the good work. You have lots of potential compared to many other Walmart managers or supervisors I have come across. Your work ethic and respect for individuals will take you to the top!

The only reason Im giving this store one star is because I cannot post with a big fat ZERO! Yesterday my husband and myself went to the Brea store to make a purchase in the Electronics Department. Toby the department manager at the Brea store was so helpful. He indicated that the product we wanted to purchase (Asus 64 GB Tablet 379.00) was out of stock. Toby offered to call another store for us to make it convenient so we wouldnt have to run all over town. The closed store was in Orange and the availability of the sale item showed two left. I know that items like this go quickly so to drive 15 miles one way I though we might have the Orange store hold it for us. Toby called the first time and the front desk at the Orang store put him on hold and then hung up on him. He tried again and in a very pleasant voice said please transfer me to your electronics department. My husband and I waited for over 25 minutes while all the phone did was ring. Toby was embarrassed to have to tell us when we asked what was going on. The department wasnt answering the call. Rather than make him wait any longer on hold for this more than incompetent store in Orange to bother to answer their phone my husband and I decided to leave and just drive over to Orange. We thanked Toby for his time and effort, my husband shook his hand in thanks and we left. On the way out of the Brea store we decided rather than driving over to Orange on hope that there might me a tablet in stock we decided to go to Best Buy instead. I made my purchase and even got a better price than Walmart. I will never go to Walmart again based on the fact that I honestly believe that Toby is the only employee with that has any professionalism and common sense. Just because Walmart offers Lower Prices doesnt mean they should combine it with Lower Customer Service. Im hoping that somebody from the Orange Walmart store reads this and advises their people to step up their game. I highly doubt it, but I can hope.
