On July 28, 2016 at about 8:40 pm, I visited the Diamond Bar Neighborhood market to make a few purchases. I brought my own bag and used the self check out kiosk due to a long line. I exited the store and was returning to my car, when I heard somebody shouting and following me (Esmerelda). I couldnt understand what she was saying, so I approached her while she kept asking "did you get your receipt". I was confused and thought the question was odd, until realized she wanted to see my receipt. I asked her specifically, do you mean you want to see my receipt?, to which she replied "yes". She was holding a walkie talkie to her ear the entire time she was following me and making her query. When I obliged, she just turned abruptly and walked briskly back into the store with no apology forthcoming. I went back in to speak with the manager and asked Esmerelda the name of the manager, to which she replied "its on your receipt". Only, when she realized, that I was going to complain, did she offered a very disingenuous apology. I was angered further by her flippant answer and attitude, so I decided to return my purchases. The cashier Michelle that handled the return was very courteous during this transaction and recognized me as a frequent customer. Im a local resident and business man raised in Diamond Bar since 1967, where most of my family resides. I am heavily tattooed and of hispanic descent, which I believe played a role in her decision to follow me and demand to see my receipt. I called Jorge (Manager) on the 29th to discuss my poor experience at his market. Francine (assistant manager) called me to say that she would forward the message to Jorge and he would contact me, although he has not reached out to me as of August 2nd.

This is my 2nd review, my 1st one mysteriously disappeared, Walmart must have connections to delete reviews. This is constructive criticism; I like this Walmart however there are some rules of etiquette that need to be addressed with the employees and or vendors. While shopping today I was in the an isle and someone that was stocking the selves made a comment that "why all of a sudden was there so many shoppers??" I thought that was very rude, without shoppers you wouldnt have a job! We have several other options like Albertsons across the street. Maybe if we shop there your selves will stay stocked and you can sell your old bread. Then one of the employees was in such a rush she cut me off and should have been more courteous to let me proceed through the isle. I tried to call to speak with a manager, however he/she must have been to busy cause I was on hold for a while. I thought Id let them know verbally so that I didnt have to post this online. I have experience several other instances pertaining to employee etiquette or lack of. I will keep a copy of this review this time in case this one disappears like the other review. If the manager reads this, I hope they speak with the staff and relay to them the importance of having courtesy and better etiquette with their customers.

Very rude customer service. Cashier told me in the middle of me grabbing an item from the freezer that I can NOT make any more selections because their store closes in 5 minutes. As I was checking out I noticed that I was missing an item so asked if I could grab it and she said no. What blew my mind was the manager said " store closes at 11." I said I understand and I left. I get it but other stores like Albertson would send an employee to grab the missing item, its part of customer service. Id rather drive to Winnco in Pomona where all their employees are helpful and considerate. Never shopping bere again.

This is one of the better Walmarts in my opinion. This place is usually less crowded, but again this is a neighborhood market and not a Walmart superstore. This basically means, expect more groceries, edibles and home related stuff than products you would usually need to buy once in a blue moon. We went there to buy a fan, and they did not have the kind we had purchased earlier from a superstore. No hard feelings though. You would still find a good amount of items here. Maybe call ahead to check before going in. We have done that on occasions and have had a good experience with their customer service reps.

Rude Customer Service Management at night. Very judgmental. Needed to cash my pay check she said it wasnt real. Began to feed me a lot of bs on a memo that just came out today about not accepting checks with just a company name on it very unpleasant experience. Dont shop hear people are rude an lazy as crap.

Its nice to have a Walmart in the neighborhood. They are suspicious of everyone. Ive never seen a Walmart a secured makeup section. Was here yesterday,. I was so disappointed. They raised their prices about 25 cent on everything. Gouging holiday shoppers.

Horrible customer service. Dont even bother trying to cash a check at this place. Valid ID and valid company check and was still denied service. This site needs to hire people that want to work, not lazy rude people that dont want to do anything.

They have everything from food too clothing... and some...I like doing my shopping at this Walmart...Personly I perfer getting done early because it does get packed as it gets later...

Turn down your paper cuponds. With reasons like the picture dont match. Its insulting I refuse to shop there because their bad attitude & rudeness making customer feel embarrassed.
