This Mall literally hires SCAMMERS to own booths to sell their fake products to scam happy consumers like us to get money. The young-age cream is still on booths and its a fake product that should definitely be eradicated. I remembered when I saw the zinc bracelet to perform balance and that was absolutely fake and a scam. Right now theres still Scammers on booths coming out with fake smiles and fake charisma to get just your money. Its unbelievable how the owners of Montclair Plaza doesnt inspect the products these small businesses are doing, especially the ridiculous scamming businesses. I would NOT recommend consumers who want to experience the mall culture, nor anyone who are into booths and wants a huge shopping spree. These booth scammers tend to aggressively convince you to buy fake products rather than spend on important, necessary needs. Youll be more satisfied avoiding this type of mall. I used to love Montclair Plaza as a kid, and my family and I bought a bunch of products here, but now I know its dark secret. Thank goodness we dont go to booths. The mall that used to be my absolute favorite has vanished.

The Montclair Plaza has opened the new food court. It is called The Moreno Market. We sampled a little something there in the form of a boba drink. It was $4.50 and change for the drink and 50 cents extra for the boba. It took quite a while to get the drink but when I had been handed an electronic notification device (looks like a drink coaster that vibrates and lights up when they call you) I was surprised. 15 almost 20 minutes later I had to go to the counter to ask what happened to my drink. The young lady said they "left her on her own" so....among the other eateries there, were a noodle house connected to the boba counter, a poke place which serves raw fish and concoctions involving other raw items along with veggies and sauces, and a gelato counter. A bit pricy and a bit slow to serve but maybe it will get better as they pick up speed on their customer service. This is definitely a much smaller food court than what was previously offered at the other end of the mall. Looking forward to the crab shack that is coming soon to this location.

I arrived to the mall about a half hour until closing. Well, apparently, do not park anywhere where you cant see the front of the store you visit. If they lock the entrance to the mall you havery to walk all the way around the entire mall, through poorly lit areas, to your car and I hope your didnt park in the structure like I did because I then had to walk up the stairs to my car. I myself would not have minded it so much except that my wife sometimes has a hard time walking long distances. She then also brought up a good point, do not leave your kids there close to closing hours because now they have to walk this trek. I tried to explain to the sales people that I was parked on the other side of the mall and in the structure; they announced they were closing was the response I received. Wow...Ive been to many facilities that accommodate to customers...I guess this place doesnt care.

My hometown mall..and I love it. Unfortunately, like some other malls, its a shame that the East-Wing of the mall has remained empty when Macys consolidated to the west wing. Before Macys took over, RobinsonsMay had the west wing and Broadway had the east. But, you can blame the internet for malls slowly dying. The next store to go will be Sears and, I am guessing maybe in 5-10 years. I hope I am wrong...This mall really was a hub back in the late 70s through early 90s but, since the opening of Ontario Mils and, then Victoria Gardens, I could see a steep decline in foot traffic. Still, I frequent this mall 2-4 times a month and there are some great deals to be had at the Macys, Sears, and JC Pennys. Nordstrom is a little high-end but, they have a nice cafe. They are re-doing a lot of the inside so, at least the city has not let it go. It is still a source of city/civic pride!

This mall is definitely beyond its prime, but it still has quite a few stores to match the newer malls so its not bad for some local shopping. Being an indoor mall its nice when So Cal has rainy weather. Ever since Robinsons May went out of business, Macys took over their old location (they moved from the East to the West side of the mall) and Macys old location has been vacant ever since (for more than three years now). Overall, I really dont think of this mall first when I want to go shopping, especially with The Shoppes in Chino and Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, but its still there if I need it for anything.

Perhaps the only "traditional" shopping mall in the IE (save for the Tyler Galleria), this mall in particular needs to reinvent itself- and fast. There exists an alarming amount of vacant storefronts (an embarrassment considering this mall serves not only Montclair, but Upland, Claremont, Pomona, etc.) . The historicity of the location likely keeps it alive, but the writing on the wall is that if this mall does not reinvent itself within the next two to three years, we might be looking at one of the largest dead malls in Southern California.

I received a 20 $ rewards check . From NORDSTROM. 3 seperate checks had expired !! Meaning I lost 60. 00 $ in rewards .Their Customer Service Department STORE manager refused to honor at least one of those checks! Nordstorm knows how much $$$$$$$ you have to spend to receive these checks. SHAME ON NORDSTORM. Montclair !!! What Happen to your Great managment service. That Manager should go back to customer service training.... you need to take a Disneyland guest service training class...

Sephora and Sephora inside JCP. Awesome! So heres an update. The employees inside this Sephora (In JCP, i am not speaking for the freestanding) know the products, based off what theyve "tried" or been told. Never have I been asked my skin type or anything related. Been told numerous products will work based on opinion that was not personalized to me. I feel like a hater, but its my honest experience here. Its still a make up store with great products but if u know what u need.

This place is scary. There are people in the parking lots begging for money, gangsters always going in and out, security is everywhere, and the mall is run down looking. The buildings have wires coming out of them going across the parking lot in temporary fashion among other things. I was asked to leave for taking pictures in the mall by security. Not sure how the mall management thinks this will help their stores garner more business.

Less crowded than the Ontario Mills. Better kid clothing selection at Sears. Cinnabon! Barnes and Noble! Great shoe stores! I will say... do not go to the Childrens Place, Justice, Forever 21 or H&M here. They sell what seems as leftovers from the other stores. Im sad Hot Dog on a Stick is gone as well as some other yummy food places. Theyve improved the appearance but have taken out some valuable stores and restaurants.

The watch and jewelry repair service is one stop shop repair shop. This young man helped me with my watch neckless glasses I broke the leg. Fixed it for everything I paid under 40$ he smiled and kept saying it was easy. This young man earned my respect , to do such clean work and stay fair. I still cant believe this!!!
