Despite charging for parking, Westfield Century City was my favorite mall to frequent, but that opinion changed earlier this year when I visited the mall and found out it was undergoing a massive $800 million renovation. About 10% of the parking spots were taped off during this construction phase -- the underground garage is a mess and I will definitely avoid coming back until Fall 2017. As for the stores, I made a beeline to the concierge desk to find out about the status of various stores. I was told that about 40 shops decided to close permanently without consideration of reopening after the remodeling is finished. Others like the anchor store, Bloomingdales are a work in progress (theyre supposed to completely finish renovating by the end of 2016) and many like Apple, Microsoft and Sees have moved to a different location in the mall. On the other hand, Macys has closed temporarily until it is rebuilt at this site. Be sure to call about the status of your store before visiting the mall so you wont waste a trip. Mario Batalis Eataly and a large Nordstroms are among the new anchor stores scheduled to be part of the renovated Westfield Century City mall. Perhaps as incentive, the mall has lowered the minimum shopping requirement to $100 in order to qualify for free garage parking. Im sad to give this place 2 stars, but will revisit in 1-1/2 to 2 years when construction work is complete.

Still too early to expect much form this experience. The parking lot is improved, but still lacking. The signage does not really direct you to clearly marked entrances. They should have overhead lighting that would make them obvious. The personnel I encountered, though polite, really did not know which entrance led to which stores. On the main level I found the large signs on the walls great, but there were no you are here markings to orient you. At least none that people could recognize, if they were there. And there were plenty of people looking. They collected lost people trading stories with each other. At present they are useless. Again, the personnel did not seem to know where the various stores were located or how to reach them. On the positive side, the parking kiosks were easy to use, and I escaped without difficulty. Once the stores open and others chime in, I am sure these issues will be addressed. Till then it would be reasonable to position some knowledgeable parking attendants and greeters in strategic locations.

My review is specifically regarding the parking garage and the lack of security that exists there. A friend and I were visiting from out of state, and our car was vandalized and personal items were stolen. We believe we were targeted because of our out-of-state plates. I would caution anyone that parks there from out of town to beware and do not leave anything of any value in the vehicle. It will get stolen. There is a lack of sufficient amount of security cameras there. The security guard on site was very young and inexperienced, he looked to be about 18 years old. The security supervisor on site stated that out of state vehicles are targeted frequently, one or two a week. That seems excessive, but they are aware of it, and apparently they can do nothing about it. All in all we did leave the facility safe, but shaken up, and drove back home with a busted window.

this mall was AMAZING back in the 1980s and 1990s when I worked in Century City, fast forward a decade or two and it is a wtf type mall....way too many over priced stores and chain restaurants, all the charm is gone...then fast forward to the present and they are making some kind of landmark monstrosity that wont be finished til God knows when. Gone are the cute stores, what is left is half a mall, impossible to park in, impossible to find decently priced ANYTHING, aggressive vendors who practically maul you to try their wonder cream...this mall basically sucks, and the mega mall they are trying to build while only operating with a VERY FEW places to eat and places to shop makes it a depressing, overpriced eye sore and a nightmare to park in...BOOOOO

Restaurants here on their own to help you calculate the tip * 20. Tipping is not just the customer service attitude of the waiter to give encouragement and reward it? (Should be the exercise of the right customers) How will own the store brush pen full pay - have directly called customers hijacking practice, really makes people surprised, if you want to tip so simply direct costs added to the price of a good! Mainland China opened restaurant (duck), or well-known chain, plus continental Why not just count tips ~ Want to learn abroad, but also like to eat a little good-looking, really lost the Chinese people face ~ People go to eat you had better pay attention

I had a very terrible experience at this mall today. There is construction going on throughout the parking area which makes it extremely dangerous to walk and there is possible exposure to dust and asbestos. Of course the construction workers all have their protective gear on but what about the customers? Also, there are no clear walk-ways, the directional signs are mis-leading (couldnt find the escalators). Stores have closed due to the remodel which I wasnt aware of, so I couldnt return the item I wanted to. I think the parking should be free with all of these problems but of course they are still charging full price. I wont go to this mall again.

Westfield Century City Mall is nice and spacious. Theres plenty of space to lounge around and check out stores. The stores here are more in the higher end and it can get pretty pricy to shop around. Kinda of odd they have a Gleasons supermarket at the mall. The parking structure is easy to go through but one of their booths had a hard time taking my validated ticket. Park Assist guidance system for their underground parking is pretty neat. It has electronic signage and colored status indicators to help people find parking. I dont like that theres no free parking unless you spend $250 but I guess thats LA for you.

Its still under construction, but it no longer looks post apocalyptic, now it just looks desolate because the new area looks some, but isnt open yet. It sort of feels like youre an any walking around a building model. That said the same places the have been open during construction are still open, and still quite nice. I like dinner in a bag at gelsons and playing on the childrens tree (I do have a small child). And the movie theater and food court are very good. The family room for toddlers and younger is a godsend. Suggestion, more pokestops please, and so something about the hacked up parking. Thank you.
