You can call me an above average donut eater, so I can say that I know what I am talking about. My babysitter lives near this place and decided to get some donuts for work. Looks like your average donut shop and you also have your regulars playing Lotto and having there morning coffee with donuts. Plain and simple these are the best donuts Ive ever had in my life. They are always fresh and fluffy. Even when some are left overnight they are still fluffy. I have been going there now at least once a week and they always greet and take care of you promptly. I only live a few miles away and this my freinds is the best donut shop in LA. I recommend it to everyone.

Ill have to disagree with anyone who says this place is clean. I ordered several cake donuts and one of them had small legs sticking out the side. Hard to see because they were small but when I peeled the donut apart it was a small piece of what was left of a cockroach. Never again will I visit this establishment and Im reporting it to the health department! I realize bugs are in all restaurants but its the owners responsibility to keep it clean fort the customers. Needless to say I tossed all the donuts I purchased in the trash as well as the drink. Think twice before ordering here. Plenty of places around LA to buy this kind of food

Theres nothing bad about Olympic Donuts, but nothing spectacular either. Its hard to make a bad doughnut, fried dough and high levels of sugar are a pretty fool-proof mix. We picked up a dozen doughnuts for a pretty reasonable (and about what youd expect) price. Service was friendly and fast. Ill still probably go to Winchells, just a couple miles away, for my local doughnut needs.
