I went to the place with my bike at 10:30 AM but they were not open. Yet online and even in their window it said they were open at 10:00 AM. So I called the number on the window and the man on the other line said that they were running late because of traffic. So I went to the nearby coffee shop and waited so that they can come and open the place. I came back at 11:00 AM and they were open. I started explaining the problem with my bike and in the middle of my explanation he picked up his cell phone and called someone. He had the person on speaker. He was talking to me angrily and talking to other person on the other line at the same time. He got of the phone after he realized how rude he was being but he did not stop being rude. He was also very condescending. As if I was stupid for not knowing about bicycles. When that is the whole reason why I came to his bicycle shop. I asked them if I they could check if something was wrong with my back wheel and the man said angrily that he would charge me $4 to check. I asked him if it was easy to check for myself and he said yes but if I wanted to check I would have to go outside and do it. He didnt even care about being rude in front of my grandmother who was patiently waiting outside. In the end, I told him I would come back and he said "ok, whatever." I never came back to this place and I would never recommended to someone else.

Plusses: Open until 6pm on Sunday! Fixed my rear shifter on the spot in five minutes; it needed a new cable. Had the presta/schrader adapter I needed Did not charge an arm and a leg Looks well-stocked with parts Spoke English Two blocks down from Matteos Ice Cream :-) Minuses: Shop is cluttered Its the real deal for simple repairs. Im very happy.

Incredible service, down to earth guys, and a suprisingly wide selection. Come for their great bike deals and stick around for their attention to detail. If youre looking at bikes on craigslist come here for tuned and ready used bikes that ride amazingly well.
