I LOVE this Korean market. Even when I lived in Pleasanton, I would make the long drive down to Hankook Market to pick up our Korean essentials. Just the other day, I was amazed at how much stuff I was able to get for under a total of $90. The prices for produce, meats and packaged foods are SO competitive compared to grocery stores like Safeway! Plus, I am able to get things like Perilla (Sesame) seed leaves, Daikon radish, and Korean pears, which arent always available at Safeway. This past trip, I got: -Ramen: 2 different kinds. One was a unique stir fried jjampong, and the other was Samyang ramen for $3! Thats $0.60 per packet! -Sliced porkbelly: Sold by lb and mine came out to about $11. Such a good deal! - Produce: Handful of carrots for under a dollar, green cabbage and green onions for dirt cheap. - Korean specialty items: I got dried kelp! Where else can you find dried kelp? This is a staple to make Korean soup stocks. Korean rice cakes (so many different kinds) Silken tofu to make soondubu. Korean red pepper paste. I got the less spicy kind. Kimchi, pre-sliced and delicious! Special Korean carbonated drinks (Hwalmyungsoo) on sale! All kinds of fishcakes! I am so happy with the variety and the prices at this market. The only thing that I dislike is how crowded and chaotic it can get. Its like Costco at peak hours! You need to dodge carts and people left and right! But just be aggressive and youll make it through~

Straight forward Korean supermarket. They have fresh fruit, some frozen meat, a little live fish section, prepared Korean side dishes (banchan), and the usual suspects. They also have a red bean fish you find in Little Tokyo but only $1 per fish, or 6 for $5. They also have excellent fried chicken in corn meal crust. Great for a fast picnic to the park, or you can order cater size. That fried chicken is delicious!

Open late! Lots of samples on the weekend and good variety of good. They also have a little shop in the back that sells pancakes the shape of fish stuffed with sweet azuki beans for $1 each. They also sell baked sweet potatoes. There is a little shop that is the extent of their food court. They sell korean good. There is also a open ban chan bar you can take the amount you want.

There are few asian grocery stores in the LA area, and this one is amazing! I especially love the side dish bar where you can buy an assortment of Korean side dishes by the pound. I usually get a few boxes of lotus root and seaweed. And when Im too lazy to cook, Ill get a little tub of cooked brown rice and some fried tofu. Its a great market!

Very reasonable prices for produce and their marinated meats are good. I would avoid their meat/deli section though as the quality there isnt as great. I cannot speak upon the seafood though. Their prepared banchan - Korean side dishes are tasty and also fairly priced.

Super cute clean Korean market. Plenty free parking in lot. Small but has fresh produce, small meat and fresh seafood section. Sells cooked fish shaped red bean pancake snacks for $1 at the end with tray baked sweet potato $5, chicken wings $6-$17.

Love this korean grocery store. My chinese girlfriend will always go here for the great prices and great selection on asian foods. Large variety of noodles and oils, great prices on most of the produce. There is also a decent bakery here as well.

Love this grocery store. They a wide variety of korean merchandise. Also they have lots of banchan (korean side dishes) which are not prepackaged. They do however have prepackaged banchan. Their prices are reasonable too.
