STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I work in the real estate/house flipping industry, and never in my entire life have I been treated so rudely. Joseph, the owner, does not care about your business and will actually tell you that to your face (and over the loudspeaker so that everyone in the store can hear-- more on that below). Especially beware if you are a WOMAN as he is a complete chauvinist and misogynist. I went to the store, knowing exactly what I wanted and needed, and he called out to me from the other end of the counter after about 2 minutes of speaking with his employee (who, to be fair, was a very nice man), telling me and his employee that I was a waste of their time and for me to go elsewhere. I continued with my purchase (which, btw, was going to be $1000+ worth of supplies), and after about 15 minutes in the store (partly waiting for them to get all the boxes of equipment), Joseph called out over the loudspeaker for the employee to move on and stop helping "that woman" (i.e. me). Joseph then came over and told me to leave, that I had wasted 2 hours of his time and that he doesnt care about my business nor anyones business. (To be clear: I was in the store for 15 minutes at that point, so his exceedingly poor ability to estimate time is just about level with his manners.) Needless to say, I left and took my business elsewhere, to Southland Electric Supply (on Vineland), which was WONDERFUL. Moshe, one of the owners, helped me and could not have been nicer and more helpful. I highly recommend them and will add that their prices are a lot better (I wouldnt be surprised if Joseph jacks up the prices for women and other people he deems unfit to shop in his store). If Fox Wholesale doesnt want to sell to women, or to people who are not licensed electricians, then he should specify that and say that he does not sell to the public (they do sell to the public). So if he wont say it, Ill say it for him: this rude man is disrespectful to women and to non-electrician members of the public. I strongly recommend people in both of those categories shop anywhere but here.

I had a totally different experience. I googled for an electrical supply store near a job I had in Hollywood, and this was the closest. I called; they answered right away. They went back to check stock twice to locate what I needed, and they had it. I called my employee to leave Home Depot and go to this store. They said the salesman already had the box of material near the counter for my guys. They said he was kind and courteous, and even offered my guys guava and donuts. He even had hot coffee they said. So, I give this an A rating. I am a licensed general contractor. Peter
