Stay away from this dealer at all costs!!! They cannot be trusted!!! They are unethical! They are dishonest! They do not honor their prices! They will make a written deal with you and not honor the conditions of the deal! During the final paperwork they will try to deceive you and increase the loan price hoping you won’t notice! Be warned that they have the HIGHEST dealer prep and freight fees I have ever seen at a motorcycle dealership! This is the first and last time I try to work out a deal at this dealership. This is all based on a 2+hour experience trying to purchase a 2015 bike in 2016 where Nate in sales did not keep his word! On 4/15/2016 I went into the dealership looking for a 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom (of which they had three in stock) and immediately started working out a deal with Manny. I told Manny I would do either finance or pay cash for the bike if I had to. The advertised price online was $5,999 instead of the $8499 MSRP. So we started from $5999 plus $800 freight charge (when Kawasaki has $360 on their website) plus $800 dealer prep charge plus DMV fees, doc fee, other fees, and tax, to come out to $8700 out the door. I negotiated with Manny to reduce the freight charge and dealer prep down $1100, which he took back to Nate, and Nate approved after 15 minutes, bringing down the out the door price to $7600, which they wrote down on a sheet. Once that happened, I told Manny I noticed the next day (today) they were having a “We Pay The Sales Tax” event and if I needed to come back the next day to make that offer effective. Manny said he would take that question back to Nate, and after about 20 minutes Nate gave Manny a price of $7249 out the door, crossing out the previous $7600 and writing $7249 FINAL OFFER. After thinking it over for a few minutes, I agreed and I signed on a dotted line Manny created on that sheet. Up to this point everything was great! This is where the unethical behavior started. I agreed to have my credit ran to finance the bike based on that $7249 out the door price. It took 45 minutes for me to finally find out what my payment would be. $278 per month for 36 months at 3.95% (that payment would mean I financed $9,423 INSTEAD OF $7249). As a person knowledgeable in basic simple interest, I immediately told Manny that number was not right, and gave him the amount the payment was SUPPOSED to be based on our out the door price of $7249, which was $213 per month. He went back to Nate and it took 15 minutes for Nate to bring me over to his deals computer to show me he wasn’t lying and claimed “the computer doesn’t lie”. Upon reviewing the information in the computer, I noticed that he added $1500 to the price of the bike (that still didn’t justify the payment of $278 they stated earlier – they were hoping I wouldn’t notice their deceiving practices). When I pointed out the discrepancy Nate immediately started claiming he heard from someone I was giving a $1500 down payment, when nothing was ever mentioned. He said that if I gave a $1500 down payment I could get the $7249 price ON TOP of the $1500 down payment, so final price being out the door at $8749. He claimed he wasn’t making any money except $100. He said he couldn’t honor the $7249 out the door price I was given because he wouldn’t make any money. This was AFTER he ran my credit and AFTER he tried to get me into a loan for $9423 based on the payment he was offering me!!! If they were trying to pull a fast one on me by increasing the price by more than $2,000 and adding it to the loan without me knowing it, I cant imagine how many times they likely got away with it with people that might not know how to calculate simple interest. Obviously they are dishonest and lack integrity! They cannot be trusted.

So I came here to purchase a bike. I was greeted by a salesman, shown around, everything was peachy. I came in to buy a ZX 10. I gave my info to the salesman to do the credit check. I didnt expect anything to happen because it was an hour before closing. So, he did his thing and I browsed the accessories, which were plentiful and the staff in the parts department were friendly and helpful. The salesman came up to me and told me id have to come back tomorrow. So I was fine with that, I understood. The next day I came he needed more info and my wifes info to hopefully get approved. So I gave it to him. I felt like he was doing what he can to help me out. He said it would take awhile so I said I would go home and wait for him. He called me a half hour before they closed and requested more info. I thought man this guy is doing everything he can. So the next day I didnt here from him. I called his cell phone and he didnt answer. I finally called the dealer and got a hold of him. I told him I had a good co applicant and was willing to come in and close the deal. He said not to come yet and he would call me back in 5 minutes. I waited for his call and he did not return my call. He made me feel like he just put me on the back burner. To make a long story short, I decided that I was done with this dealer. So I went to Berts Mega mall and walked away with a smokin hot deal on a 2012 R1. Long beach motorsports just lost a sale and a faithful customer. Sorry Jorge, I hope you treat your future customers with better service. This should be a1 star review but the staff in the parts department earned the 2 stars.

This review is a bit over due and the name of this establishment has been changed from Long Beach Motorsports to Del Amo Motorsports. Del Amo Motorsports in Redondo Beach bought the place out a few years ago and you could see a massive improvement right away. Actually I have been taking a variety of motorcycles here for various repairs over the last 8 years and I have always been treated fairly. This review is from my last service at the dealership. I took my 2004 Suzuki Hayabusa in for a full tune up which was long overdue. There are a few different options of tune ups and I didnt want to go for the super duper one so I went with something in the middle that fit my budget. I scheduled an appointment to drop my bike off and I was given an estimate on when I could pick it up again. Like I said I have done business here before and they have been pretty good about this stuff. I got my bike back and it runs great! I do need new tires but I have quite a bit of rubber on them and I like to burn them down to the cords before I get the back tire replaced. (I probably should at least get the front tire replaced LOL)

I have been taking my 2011 Suzuki GSX-R 750 to Del Amo Motorsport in Long Beach for almost 2 years now. The service department is certified and extremely reliable. My bike runs like a dream! Ask for Jarell in the service he is knowledgeable, professional, and dependable. This is my second bike & I can’t say enough about the quality of customer service I receive there. Don’t take your bike to the shop on the corner where some guy’s cousin, who has “always worked on bikes,” is putting you ride back together. Stick with the professionals Jarell & his team is top notch. Last month I picked up new tires. Jarell asked me a few questions about where I ride. He recommended tires, provided me with options & prices. I’ve never been happier with tires. These grip the turns perfectly. Also, something you might want to look into is a service warranty. I invested in it & I wish I did so sooner. It covers the regularly scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.). It MORE than pays for itself, after a few services.
