This Lafayette Walgreens is not a place for black folks to shop especially black men. I go into this Walgreens buying some hygiene products and load my Clipper card. One of the cashiers loaded my Clipper card without even asking me for a form of payment so then she tries to ask me for a form of payment for the hygiene products and I write out a temporary check for the amount of $33.92. They run the check through the machine several times and the machine keeps spitting out the check. So then she takes my check, Clipper card, and my ID to the back and says shell be back shortly and 30 minutes later the police comes through the door and asks me whats going on and I said I wasnt sure. The manager came out the back and told the sheriff that my check was counterfeit so they ask me to step outside so they can call the bank to verify if the checks were real and the bank confirmed the account was legit and so were the temporary checks. So I was free to go and I walked home tensed and stressed out and promised myself that I will never return to the Lafayette Walgreens. I started going to the ones in Bay Point, Pittsburg, or Antioch.

The photo department, specifically Eddie, was very helpful with my photo order. I had originally placed the order for PickUp in Lafayette, but had to switch it to New York City because of my schedule conflict. He went out of his way to locate the appropriate Walgreens across the country that could process my order. By the way, I was in Miami at the time. The customer service was top notch. Thanks again!

Walgreens Lafayette has the most friendly and the most helpful employees than any other drug store in the area. Im always greeted with a smile immediately when I enter the front entrance and I am ALWAYS asked if I need help finding anything. The pharmacy staff is also very friendly and very competent (unlike the drug store across the way unfortunately ).

My physician faxed a request for xopenex solution for my nebulizer on a friday. I went to pick it up Sat afternoon and was told that they would not have it until Monday I depend on xopenex to breathe and I am out. To not be notified that they didnt have an emergency medicine like that in stock is unacceptable

Pharmacy: ZERO stars. Incompetent. What normally take 5-10min at CVS took me what they said 30 min, but what really ended up being 4 days. I thought I would try them, but realistically, the are just opposite the CVS that are 100% more on it.
