Today was my first time at this Corner Bakery. My department at UCI sometimes caters lunches from here, and I have always enjoyed the food. However, the in-restaurant vibe was off-putting and I will not be returning. The cashier let us know that she was new, and I dont know if it was her or the kitchens mistake, but we ended up with a food option that wasnt on the menu. After speaking to management, we were told we were the ones who made the mistake. We were simply ordering off of the menu and we heard the cashier repeat the order. The manager did not own up to the mistake, which was annoying and frustrating. He did honor my request for the bag of chips that I had ordered (we got carrots instead), but not without letting me know that "carrots cant be replaced by chips". The menu clearly stated "option of carrots or chips." Something was off. All I can say is if you are looking for similar food (and price range) with a better vibe and customer service, go to Panera.

I used this store for catering a party I was having over a month ago. Two weeks after the party was over, they charged me for the order, and then 5 days later they charged me again. When I called the store to alert them to this fraudulent charge, I was told that it was my fault because I placed an order online and then changed it later over the phone. It has been over a week since I have made the complaint, and I still have not received a refund or any explanation as to why this extra charge has been made. The company is obviously incompetent and what is worse....they have stolen approximately $240 from me and I have no idea how I will get it back unless I take them to small claims court.

The Prices are amazing and the food are spectacular. If you want a place that has amazing food and cheap prices then look no further than Corner Bakery. Yes this place is slightly noisy but what I recommend you to do is bring a headphone and enjoy my meal. But people might wonder what if they dont have headphones. The answer to that is if you can handle slightly noisy places than you can probably handle here.

Unwittingly I walked in just after closing time. The young lady behind the counter was kind and despite the fact she had cashed out for the evening allowed me to buy a coffee. Then she told me it was on the house. She even warmed it up in the microwave and offered me a free cookie. She was great. I will be back. I just wish I knew her name so her manager could give her a pat on the back.

how come the cashier Beatriz didnt repeat the order back to me. As a consequence i took my food back to get it corrected. i shake my head to this common mistake. id recommend if somebody is special ordering something that they put on their thinking cap. i have seen cashier step it up by repeating the order back to me. the food is good as always though.

The customer service here was amazing! An item was forgotten off the order and they immediately brought it without a fuss (and I was more than willing to pay for it as it was just an honest mistake but they insisted they would take care of it - wow!). Food and environment was great too for a laid-back late breakfast!

2 1/2 really but my complaint is they do kit use real eggs. If your going to tout your breakfast /egg dishes use real eggs. Tip off that there was a problem was they only offer scrambled eggs. I like over easy. Mgr told me they use pre made powdered egg mix. Like jails do... No Thanks

Their environment is always clean and well maintained. The American Scramble with the red potatoes is my pleasure dish and is always done right with egg whites. Staff is friendly and professional. None of my orders in the last 4 years of coming here have been wrong. Keep it up.

Its a very dull Corner Bakery. Almost feels like a McDonalds. The tables are next kept up on during slow times. The staff is friendly but slow. Often times I find they are caught up in their own conversations and forget that there would ever be a customer.

Every time weve been here, the food has been great. The service, however, is extremely spotty and never particularly fast. Sometimes it takes them a long, long time to clean tables so be prepared to clean a spot yourself if you want to sit down.

My goodness, they messed up my order and replaced with a wet soggy Panini thins. I had to throw most of it away. What a waste of $7 for breakfast. Please do yourself a favor and skip this corner bakery. There are better ones in the neighborhood.

First time Ive been there, they forgot my order and the manager made it up for me by offering a couple of desserts for me. Since then, my wife and I have been there quite a few times, and their food and service is always great.

This location has always been great, but its even nicer after the renovations. Great selection (beware celiacs, there is cross contamination here so ask ahead of time for specifics), yummy coffee, very friendly staff.

Good atmosphere with simple comfort-style foods. Food is a little pricy, but the atmosphere makes up for it. They have a good variety of iced-tea and hot-coffee. But pass on their "coffee drinks"

My wife and I tried Corner Bakery while visiting California. Food is quick, fresh, and reasonably priced. The indoor dining area was very crowded and noisey at lunch time.
