I had my bike serviced for the 3rd time at their shop and it was the last. They kept my bike for 2 weeks because they screwed up when ordering the parts and it was almost like they were blaming it on me for bringing in such an old bike: Kawaski Ninja 250 2002, bought exactly there!!. Excuse me? The worse is that I had to call them to get updates on the order to get an ETA on my service. Also, I had told them 3 or 4 times to check the rear tire for a rolling noise and they said they did not find anything. Well, when I got back home I was still hearing the noise and I called them but they did not want to believe me. The service manager even hung up on me while I was asking how it was possible for them to miss something that obvious. To his credit though, it was already 6:05pm and he probably had never done so much overtime in his entire life! (lol) The following Saturday, I took the tire off and removed 2 small bolts that they had left between the wheel and the tire when they replaced it on my 2nd visit 7 months ago. I believe that this is what has caused the extra vibration that resulted in the premature wear of the drive chain, which only lasted 5k miles (the original reason of this visit). Finally, I had repetitively told them to check on the clutch handle because it felt loose... and of course they missed it. So I had to adjust it myself... Apparently, these people will not do anything unless they can put a price tag on it. I spent $500+ to have oil/filter change, the chain replaced and new brake pads... but that was not enough to give a quick look to the rear tire (while it was off because of the chain work) and to the clutch lever. Way too many major and minor details that ended up breaking my trust into these people. They will definitely not go the extra mile for your satisfaction. To me, they are as professional as bunch of kids playing around with big gas toys. When it comes to seriously making sure that the bike you use for commute everyday is in order and safe to ride... my grand-ma would do a better job.

Reading East Bay Motorsports review below tells me it had a bad image. But my experience will tell, they have changed their image to make Customers Happy. After doing my homework by calling dealers around, I just bought a Motorcycle couple weeks back from EAST BAY Motorsports. Below is my journey.... I talked to sales rep, Elliot Jr., about the OTD price. He did ask me what others are quoting. I gave him the best quoted price and told him the OTD price I was willing to pay for it. Also made sure the Model I was looking for was available in the store. He did try to tackle me and wanted me to stop by the store first and take it from there. But I was firm on my price and told him, I would only come to the store if he was ready to sell the motorcycle at my OTD price. He checked with his Manager and happily informed that I can get the motorcycle at my OTD price. So there was no space for haggling. When I reached at the store, Elliot Jr. treated us with respect and asked me to check the Model I was looking for. I checked and he got the model correct. Then I wanted to confirm the price and he started the paper work with the OTD price I quoted. He was happy to help me with all questions I had. When I was leaving, he explained all controls on the motorcycles. He also helped me in giving directions for getting home. And they did make sure I was leaving back home with the motorcycle happily and safely. When I was merging on the road, I turned back for checking traffic and I saw 2 guys, I recognized Elliot Jr. waving hands saying, its safe to go. With this experience, I would say EAST BAY MOTORSPORTS is one of the best dealer in BAY AREA with Gorgeous showroom, great customer service and best price for your vehicle. I would definitely recommend them and come back for future purchases

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope you read this before going here now to the story. I came in not expecting to really buy a bike but the sales man was nice and informative and i said sure i can finance it and just pay it off as i go. Then we did the paper work and they were very very nice up to this point. The second i signed my name on that paper the gentalmen i was with (i think the manager) started to not be the nice happy guy he was and made us wait around for 3 hours saying he couldnt find the last form. They treated me terribly while i was there the rest of the time then they dropped off the bike and said they would give me a quick tutorial on getting the bike going and they just got it off the bike not very gentaly and just left. Worst of all the credit unions they use are scadalace you will end up paying alot more than you owe and i know there is interest but after two years they increase the interest a ton and if you had not paid it off by then it also adds the interest from the past two years you didnt pay on top and in the case of my fathers 15000 bike it was more than 3 grand plus the new interest is way hi I was on yamaha credit if you are going to go thru dont go with that company say no. And as anyone else says there is terrible service for your bikes warranty. There is a group my dad is in that is filing a law suit because they are that bad i wish i had the website. So a summery is they will treat you well till you buy the bike and if your going to get service there your crazy and with all the bad review they obviously were not just having a bad day but were being completely rude. Please heed this warning.

After two hours of waiting for my bike to have its recall completed, their service department calls to tell me I have a nail in my tire and its flat. Thats it...we dont have a tire for you, wont do a patch and we arent done with the recall update yet either. Needless to say, I was NOT happy. After talking with the service caller, dept lead and sales manager about my bike arriving with a good tire and that they should be paying for the replacement, they told me I should be thankful to them that they are willing to call around for a tire for me and go pick it up for me. Im now out $189 for the tire, that doesnt match my other tire, and $80 for them to put it on for me. I took photos of their trash piles lying around their service area. THEN while Im sitting there waiting to pay over the phone for his new tire, a salesman is telling a new bike owner how to handle his new bike while his ~10 year old daughter is standing at his side. The salesman says, "and most importantly dont have any fat chicks on the back of the bike. It looks bad for you and is hard on the tires." I felt so bad for that little girl and told him that was inappropriate. I now have to wait another ??? hours for my new tire! I will not be back.
