The store is clean, well lit, and huge. The prices are okay, even with the card. The staff that night was on a long break, because there were six people lingering around the register in a make-shift line (no one knew which register was open--if any), and we were not greeted nor apologized to. The club card wasnt mentioned until I was rung up and ready to pay, I asked why it was more expensive than what the prices read. He said you have to be a member. Period. I said I dont shop for alcohol often, so I dont want to be a member... and started to leave. Thats when he said that I could buy it, but its a rewards card membership. I dont know anything, but I know that this could have been handled so much better, even if it was an error that we were all left on our own. A hello, I am sorry I was helping a customer (we dont know why he was away) would be acknowledgement of OUR TIME. And the club card should be immediately after the opening in case I am unprepared or do not have one nor know what it is. Service is one star, the prices are two stars (because you can get for a better price at other stores), the variety is five stars, and the cleanliness was five stars. And lastly, one star for walking from the closing of the register to the exit without a closing greeting to make up for the non-opening greeting.

Racist! I went in to BevMo last Sunday to buy some Carlsberg lager and Norwegian aquivit because my family is Danish and Norwegian. They treated me like i was Russian. I went up to pay the clerk was a white female, blue eyes with a pixie cut and obviously Lesbian( Danes are known to be progressive such as myself and have no bias against gay people) She was very rude along with her manager a 4-8" Hispanic woman. I didnt get their names because i was so appalled by their lack of manners and customer service. I come from a small town where everyone is nice to each other. This is one more example why the city of Fresno gets called the "arm pit" of California. BevMo try hiring some competent employees, like most big box stores you only care about your bottom line! Scandinavians are not Russian and even if i was Russian did you ever think that if a Russian came to the United States maybe they came here for the freedoms they dont have in Russia? I cant stand ignorant people! I will never go back to the Fresno store and will let others personally know about my experience!

Awesome store but HORRIBLE staff. If you dont want to help customers, maybe some people shouldnt take a customer service job. I had called asking if they had a specific beer and they said they did but when I arrived, it was sold out. I asked if they could ask Visalias BevMo if they had it in stock and the girl checked the computer and said they did. I asked if she could call and ask them to please hold it for me since I would be driving all the way from fresno to visalia. Her reply to me was "Um, you can call." RUDE STAFF. Will NEVER go back to the Fresno BevMo. Visalias BevMo was 10X better! Worth the trip.

Lackadaisical and unhelpful staff. Bevmo lacks etiquette and the drive to make sales. They just throw bottles on the floor, mark it up for the hell of it, and cross fingers for it to sell. I hope the incoming Total Wine puts them out of business. Also be leary of WAY outdated beers. Look at their stock carefully. Some brews are over a year old from their bottled date. Not how am efficient and respectable business operates.

Ok great selection, prices pretty good if you have a bevmo card, it saved us a couple bucks. Cashier was rude and really didnt want to do her job at all. Not sure if I will go back because Walmart sales probably all that they sale for cheaper like as cheap as Costco. Of course they dont have the high end wines etc so its a toss up. Bottom line if Im over there I might go but in most hurry

Very large selection of large variety of beverages. Usually well stocked with all the various types of alcoholic beverages. Prices are generally good especially with the BevMo card free membership. Some items though like big trendy named brands can be found cheaper at places like Costco or Walmart if your on a budget or looking for bulk quantities for drinks like beer or liquor.

The moment I walked into the store I was greeted. They end caps were beautifully displayed and fully stocked. I found it very easy to find my wine. The sales are great too; buy the second for a nickel. They offered some locals, I was wanting to see some wines from the Fresno wineries. If you are not into alcoholic beverages, there is a huge selection of gourmet sodas.

Buckshot Cake

Bevmo has a wide variety to choose from, but their "discount" card program is a joke. Today, I bought a jar of Ole Smokey moonshine. It was clearly marked $20.99 on the shelf below it, but with my "discount", the register rang up $28.99, then discounted it to the clearly marked cash price of $20.99. I find that somewhat misleading.

Was turned away from the store by a very rude sounding employee at 805pm today. Needless to say my chances of returning are very slim. What kind of alcohol establishment closes at 8 on a Sunday anyways? This was my first time actually making the trip out there which is a twenty minute drive. What a waste.

What can I say other than they have a great selection of drinks. With that said, they dont always carry *everything*. I mean, I suppose its impossible to carry everything, but there are some things I would expect them to have. For example: certain types of Stout beers. Overall, its a great store.

The best place to get anything. Searched all of Fresno to find an item. Should of known, Bevmo has it. Great staff very friendly. Wide variety for anything. Smart on closing early. Dont want a bunch if drunken dummies making a scene. Get your needs afterwork and your set.

I prefer the clovis location. Bad parking lot. Small cramped rows. They have a good selection of beers and such but just too small and hard to get to.
