We stopped here to rent crampons for two people, a helmet, and a bear canister. My crampons worked great because they were good quality Black Diamond crampons with ABS plates to prevent balling. However, my friend got a different brand that did not have the ABS plates and as a result, they collected snow. It took him twice as long to get down the mountain because he couldnt get any traction. He fell 3-4 times and had very sore knees from stopping so hard to get a good foothold. If he had better quality gear, he would not have fallen and would have had a much easier time getting down the mountain. I spoke to the guy at the shop about this when I returned the gear and he explained that some crampons do not have the ABS plates. Now that I know what they are and how they work, I will never rent crampons without ABS plates.

Sadly, very unprofessional..The team is not willing to compromise with the needs of customers and not very customer friendly. Once rented and if the customer needs to make any changes, they throw the rule book towards you, I have not seen such customer services till date from any rental place. I did not even ask for the money, just wanted to be adjusted with another purchase. Normally people are very accommodating. Sadly, people do not realize, this is business of word of mouth and for $48 of one ski rental, they threw the rule book to my surprise. Very sad..Crest le vie guys.. i was very happy to meet the team but once you paid the amount, it was different experience when i called them back for slight change.. wow!!! Nevertheless, we learn everyday.. it is an experience......

My girlfriend, myself, and another friend rented cross-country skis and skins for a 3-day weekend trip, and had a great experience here. The equipment was in good condition, it was well-maintained (freshly sharpened edges), and clean. They even put some duct tape on the ski poles in case of emergencies-- great attention to detail. One of the owners even helped my girlfriend put the skis on the rack when she went to pick up the gear. Finally, they stayed open beyond their posted hours for us both on the rental and the return because we were running late. I really couldnt have asked for a better experience here.

Very disappointing experience. Called in advance to inquire about gear and was assured it would be available next day. Planned trip around availability but was turned down at shop by other employee (owner?); the gear was available but she didnt want to rent it out due to concerns about wear & tear. Acknowledged her employees promise but was unwilling to make exception or honor promises.

Wonderful couple running this shop. We had a positive experience renting ski equipment in 2014. Fair rental fee for fairly decent ski equipment. We will go back there again this year.
